I prefer how he goes against "people" like this guy who main S tiers, and even went as far as trying to counterpick Tea with another S tier and Tea still beats them. Best player in Japan ❌🧢
The commentators were saying all kinds of stupid stuff all the time.... "This is so intense I just wanna close my eyes and see who's gonna win". Both players have 2 stocks left: "This is the stock that's gonna decide the winner" literally isn't
19:15 i know that this is such a relatively mundane thing to point out in this entire set full of ridiculously high level play and mindgames (the bell dancing near the end in particular was so suspenseful lol), but i really wanted to point out that right here, i would have gotten completely and utterly merked by that up smash. these guys are on a completely different level, its ludicrous.
What a grand finals! Congrats to Tea for the victory, and to Atelier as well for a well played tournament. Tea's Pac-Man is insane, and I loved Atelier's Wolf!
That KO from Tea to reset the bracket had me screaming out loud by myself in my apartment. I just can't believe he got destroyed twice in a row just to turn around and do something like that. Long range Bell to back air is a thing of legends
Tea is hype and inspiring wall jump ---> reverse galaga/Bell to recover back on stage and regain stage control its my personal favorite mixup with pacman. Can't wait til in person friendlies and tourneys come back.
Tea is my favorite ultimate player. He is the reason I started playing pacman as my secondary. I was scared after Wolf took a few games in the first set. So many amazing tricks pulled out by Tea. Incredible last kill!!!!
Absolute fantastic gameplay from both players. Clicked it for Tea, but I'm really enjoying Atelier's play as well :) Also really like the commentators. Good vibes. 🤙
^.^ looking forward to Kagaribi 5 on Oct 31st , will be shortly after my second vaccination so will no doubt welcome the distraction around then, best of look anybody competing there
Set two game three commentators were really understating how powerful Pac Man with bell in hand is. Tea can walk around and do what he wants and Atelier had to be careful of all options. In general mediocre commentary but top level was play so worth it.
What a great set. Atelier's wolf is super clean. Reminds me of Zackray or Tweek wolf. But the Tea is back baby and he comes with boba now! P.S. it's pronounced uh ·teh·lee·ei ;)
He is but Japan is a whole different ranking systems, they have people that would be unranked but only come out once in while and destroy top level players. So its harder to judge
> Literally *just* got done commentating 2 consecutive sets featuring Akak playing the sickest Hero the world has seen. > Both commentators already referring to him as "that Hero player" 🤦🏻♂️. The disrespect…
Wolf is an S Tier character. Pacman and PT are both A Tier. It's not too surprising for an S Tier to even the match up against an A Tier. Also both players played really well for their respective characters.
As a Pacman main he isn't top 10. Definitely top tier thankfully but his inability to kill without set up will keep him out of top 10. Bell is the only reliable set up, but people play around it hard when they're at death percent, up air only kills on low ceiling and down air only kills at very high percent. If pacman had a kill throw that wasn't back throw at 150%+ he would instantly be top 10.
@@TheBomberman122 aren’t you forgetting about b-air, key, and apple? Plus I’ve seen d-air at 130-140 all the time, which isn’t really that high in top level play. Also, sometimes you just get killed off of Galaga combos, which are easy for a top level Pac-Man to do consistently. I’m not saying he has amazing kill potential, but I still think he has enough to be top 10.
Holy moly that last kill was nuts
For real man. I lost it
Best part about tea is his ability to play in so many ways.
Pretty easy when Pac has the frame data to do whatever you want, but he plays neutral like a god fo sho
I prefer how he goes against "people" like this guy who main S tiers, and even went as far as trying to counterpick Tea with another S tier and Tea still beats them. Best player in Japan ❌🧢
instaBlaster...
Missed offline tournaments so much. Congrats to tea, very entertaining as always!
41:40 Tea is a gangster for jumping on the platform to do nothing
he was trying to draw him, to follow z-drop, or react to jump angle with bell throw. pretty sweet neutral control.
Tea is known to be an absolute troll when he can be. He’s like the Loki of Pac-Man players.
It’s always a treat to watch TEA.
His showmanship is impressive given his goal is to win and not look cool doing it. He just somehow does both.
Sip tea on your on d gay boi
Honestly I prefer drinking tea to watching it but I might try that instead after such high praise
Yooo 41:10 - 42:06 the absolute fear the wolf had of that bell. Tea is just so insane man I swear.
It was as if he was holding a Bob-Omb.
41:30 Pacman's face suits him so well for those funny sequences
If I have to hear " the best heavy in the game" one more time I'm gonna lose it
It is not only wrong, but also irritating.
Is that a meme or do people actually think that?
He is the best Heavy tho is Down B turns him into a top tier
I know the guy personally that’s commentating that. It’s an inside joke between him and a bowser main
The commentators were saying all kinds of stupid stuff all the time.... "This is so intense I just wanna close my eyes and see who's gonna win". Both players have 2 stocks left: "This is the stock that's gonna decide the winner" literally isn't
Atelier played very well this tournament, congrats to both players!
1:52 - this is why Tea is my favourite player to watch
BROOOO tea is built different fr
1:54 That's INSANE! Haven't watched smash ultimate tournaments in like 1.5 years now and Tea still got it! Huge respect
It’s only game 1 and Tea is already styling on the first two stocks
6:56 I could feel the fear of that ivysaur
19:15 i know that this is such a relatively mundane thing to point out in this entire set full of ridiculously high level play and mindgames (the bell dancing near the end in particular was so suspenseful lol), but i really wanted to point out that right here, i would have gotten completely and utterly merked by that up smash. these guys are on a completely different level, its ludicrous.
How is nobody talking about 46:55 holy shit that combo
Tea is a madman
"How is nobody talking about"
@@Balthazar2242 What he said made perfect sense mate
What a crazy FUCKING combo at the end of the last game. That type of gameplay is really my cup of tea.
Was the pun intentional or...
@@卓立群-j8z 100% intentional
The King is Back TEA!
41:38 Tea in the voice of Marss: "What's wrong Atelier, never been so close to losing/not losing Grand Finals before?"
I’m happy to see tea in grand finals
Tea’s ledge trapping is absolutely insane.
yoooo tea is a GOD! all 3 stocks of that first match were ridiculoussssss holy fuck
He is filthy
two absolutely insane players, what a great grand finals
You could say what a GRAND finals...I'll leave.
everytime charizard is on screen: BeSt HeAvY iN tHe GaMe
A pair of gods these two. Great game, one to remember
01:53
Hmm
Me after the first sip :
1:17
That bracket reset was sick
After playing so much online it’s really nice to see why these characters are actually good and not just projectile camping
Our boy is back!
Just watching tea will make you think about the game in a different way
That last stock was nasty my god
great set
Ahhhh offline tourneys. I've missed you so
That finisher combo was so rough for Atelier
14:19 Custom stages
Tea is so fun to watch I love his pac-man goddamn

Just big brain plays by the best pacman in the world
Tea’s gameplay really goes to show how much potential Pac-Man has.
Tea plays Pac-Man for a reason.. no other character can really do what pac does
Tea! He has returned!!!!
Rarely see a player adapt so drastically like that. Not saying it doesn't happen often but I don't *see* it often.
34:52 that one sound idk
This man got da sauce
The other commentators in the back also made it more enjoyable
46:56 I.... I fucking can't... THIS IS GORGEOUS
The third game of the reset is the longest I've ever seen Tea holding the bell. He was trying to mentally destroy Atelier right there.
That’s got to feel good to end the last game like that.
意外と人いて良かった
Tea is just so fun to watch. This is like the most epic GF for smash ultimate!
Hitting f-air strings into d-air is always so satisfying
Absolute fantastic gameplay from both players. Clicked it for Tea, but I'm really enjoying Atelier's play as well :) Also really like the commentators. Good vibes. 🤙
Tea is and always will be my favorite smash player
9:20 Atelier is actually big brain
41:30 Tea could literally have just thrown the Bell upward since Atelier was repeatedly double jumping between the platforms
Pac-Man has too much stuff... easily the most creative solo viable character on the roster
He's top tier in my opinion.
@@wukongson5290 yeah easily. Idk if he’s top 5 but pac can at least get the job done alone no matter the MU
@@patrickburton1401 top 10 free imo. Pac has so many options and his damage is on something else. The character is cracked.
PAC MAINS RISE UP!!
Is that offline?
Hearing them keep pronouncing the r in Atelier is making the French in me writhe in agony
how about when I say omelette du fromage
Why did T not join this tournament?
That last stock was nuts.

The tournament ended a couple days ago lol
FINITO
Tea is the best player in japan and top 5 in the world no cap.
HE SPITTIN
Finally, a smart person. Definitely, Tea is better than Marss and Nairo.
Facts.. he just doesn’t get to travel as much
the commentators sound like they wanna take a nap
they had been casting for like 6+ hours before this set lol
Hey! I was the guy with the american accent but yes, we were casting from 10:30 am until 6 pm. I wanted to sleep lol
@@SorcerersSongs i could tell lol. u did good tho haha
we did commentary for more than 8hrs at that point haha. I love the Japanese community!
I had to watch that last kill in november 😔i failed

Atelier makes Wolf look so easy in game 3 and 4
Wolf is easy
Commentators: I think Tea is the favorite.
Me: Uhhhh... Yeah... He's a top 20 player.

That's what he gets for playing Hero 🤷♂️ a character only memorable for his jankness
This commentator and his "best heavy in the game" habit
and the shows signs of life habit
Nice
There's just something about tea that makes me want to use pacman
That was about as good as the ending could’ve been
I'm now a Tea fan
💯th comment. No spoilers, but ggs to both of them. Love the way the Japenese play. Awesome!

Tea lets goo pac man godd
Tea is collld ❄
But that 3rd game was insane!
These commentators...
PAC SUPREMACY
Atelier is a French word your not supposed to say a-tele-ER
Good
Hate the phrase signs of life after this. If they’re two stocks up they’re definitely alive lmao...
What I gather from this is that Wolf is broken.
But Tea adapted to that Wolf and whooped his ass.
Wolf is an S Tier character. Pacman and PT are both A Tier. It's not too surprising for an S Tier to even the match up against an A Tier. Also both players played really well for their respective characters.
