Thanks! I’m trying to get better at not totally slamming a book for having some issues if it’s clear that the author wasn’t being malicious. I’m almost done with all my library books! Time to read the ones I actually spent $$$ on!
I agree with you entirely with your comments on Weyward. I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. I also disliked the violent male stereotypes. Almost every male character was depicted as a monster. The story and the characters were completely predictable and it felt very amateur. I actually threw the book in the garbage instead of donating it to my local book box because I just felt it was unnecessarily disturbing and negative. Thanks for your insightful reviews. I have been enjoying watching them.😊
Thanks! I’ll get into it in more detail when I do my review roundup, and it’s not about the fact that lots of women really do make those choices. It’s that those choices are validated and presented as positive soooo much more than others.
