Congratulations from a Dutchman to the GB team with the stunning performance of Hodgkinson. What a sublime race. I would think she is related to Femke Bol by the graceful way of running, the acceleration at the end and making it seem so effortlessly.
Yeah I'm from about 20 mins away from Atherton where keelys from and I see a similar way that they simply out class their competitors. Just different levels. For sure the two big female stars of these games.
They're good friends as well and meet up quite regularly in South Africa when winter training. Also there's been some light hearted talk about a race between them over 600m.
White Runners have a reputation of being beat alot and not looked upon as historicly strong. But if you do the research White Runners have been very good. Just look at Steve Ovette, Sabastian Coe, and Steve Cramm who dominated the 80's from the 800 meters to the 2 mile. Throw in Jim Ryan and Dave Whottel from the 60's and 70's. And who can forget the White Runner Emile Zatopek....The only man to win the 5K, 10K, and Marathon in the same Olympics. And none of these Runners had White Priviledge. '
Seems Atherton and Tyldesley don't like being in a Wigan postcode. Fred Longworth school catches them all though, and releases superstars. Ella Toone is going to be partying tonight.
dont involve politics in sport , sport is for everyone , it is to show the excellence human beings can achieve , just getting to the olympics is a massive achievement , all participants should be proud
They ran a semi yesterday! It's not a one off diamond league meet you know. And she was plenty fast as she needed to be. After a load of silvers all she cares about is getting that monkey off her back. At 22 she's got years to bring times down. She's already run a lot faster when she's had to, tonight she won by a mile without even needing to shift gears. There is loads more to come yet. She could be at the top for the next decade.

Bisogna scomodare il poeta Keats per definirla "
" A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOR EVER "

Its not. Its literally a few thousand scumbags
Oh gosh I didn't think anyone would be gullible enough to fall for the tabloid headlines. One born every day
No improvement on time
True, and not surprised. A good and evenly paced Gold Medal effort, though.

None of the other runners pushed the pace in the 1st 400 which might have taken the energy out of her kick.
