Great video; you'd have made a great sailor! I was in the US Coast Guard for eight years, and we used monkey fists wrapped about lead wights. We would then tie them fast to a hawser, and then toss the monkey fist connected to a 50' length of line to a buoy or whatever in order to get the hawser (big thick line) over for towing or whatever. Great to see you're keeping the hundreds-year traditions alive. Blessing to you and your channel!
YIkes! I had to edit the post because I misspelt "hawser", and I think I removed your heart from the comment, but still excellent presentation!!! By the way, I used my monkey fist to enclose a set of coins. I connected that to a smaller line using a double Becket bend and then tied knots to make a Pendulum Metronome for music history. Before the ticking - and sometimes annoying - Metronome, pendulums were used to define certain Italian tempo words so that players of compositions might have a starting point to play their music even centuries after their passing. I though you might like to know that your video has done a marvelous service, thank you again. :D
Wow this is amazing. I'm going to make this for my kitten as a toy to bat around! Please do add " diy cat toy ball" etc to your vedio title so that it becomes easier for us pet owners on a budget to make diy cat toys
