mine didnt work my paracor ended up just having a broken end you suck
Just because your paracord broke at the end doesn’t mean he sucks.
😇😇😇
Thank you! I'm making my dad one of these for his birthday and this video taught me how :D
@@errornoname4763 Paracord doesn't break, jerk. Just because you cut the paracord, doesn't mean this guys is terrible. Before you say "well you don't know that" I know just one string (with a knot of paracord of course) can hold up to eight hundred pounds. I know, I tested it.
As a complete beginner this knot looked particularly intimidating for some reason. Thanks to this tutorial I got it first try and looking great!
Used my laces on my old hiking boots and it came out great! Thank you 😊
Instruction unclear, I accidentally tied my self to the ceiling.
hahahahahah!
🤣🤣🤣
how
Haha
Same... This is so confusing
Reminder: if your having trouble change the playback speed! Just a helpful tip everyone!
I put the video speed super slow
Instructions not clear. I sped it up even faster and now I’m even more lost.
I made some before using crown knots as the core. It worked really well, I was able to pull them super tight, and they were nice and round. I wanted one to be bigger, so I tied one crown inside another, and that worked out great.
I tightened and loosened the same string about 20 times! I felt mentally deficient but finally did it. It is harder than you made it look lol I think I will make a mark with a sharpie on the next one so I know where I started.
I've been there before too! But yes, marking the starting point will help a lot.
i found out that the start is the first bit of rope you go under when going backards from the end is the beginning
if it makes sense
bkmash41 ya its way harder than he makes it look
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials what kind of knife do you use is the video?
Wow
Hey man just wanted to thank you! I made my fist monkey knot after watching this video, and I have been doing this kinda stuff since it was called macrame! Lol for anyone reading this I used a pipe cleaner with a little hook to mark the start it was easy to pull out and left no trace!! Thanks again brother!!
You made it look so easy and not very complicated! This is the best video I have seen to show someone how to make a Monkeys Fist! Thank you so much!
This is great. I've seen these used as pass though anchors for tarp tie downs to great effect. Never really knew how to tie one until now. This is one that once you see it made you can easily remember it. Thanks for sharing!
THANKS!! always wanted to learn and your video makes it easy!!
Glad to find your video. I learn this with an all-black cord btw. Took me half an hour to figure out which cord to pull on the tightening phase. patience is the key.
Great instructions,i got it right first time,and I'm a complete novice.Thanks !
Got it the first time through! Excellent instructions. I used a small 100lb tow rope. I had to adjust a bit for the larger cord but it turned out great!! Exactly what I wanted. Thanks for sharing the instructions!!!
Thank you. i can listen to your voice all day ;)
I watched a bunch of monkey fist tutorial, this one is the most clear one! Well done!
Thanks, we had a big fellow on our ship in '72 who could throw one with a line attached and hit another ship while underway.
Can't wait to make this smaller version myself!!
Wonderful, finally got it with this tutorial
Thanks for the tutorial! I did it once and then used that end product as a base for a second layer and just added a fourth pass. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself and it's a decent size.
What A Great Idea! Thanks I Think I'll Try That 🤘👍😜
Awesomely explained!! Thank you!! 🙏🏼😀
I started searching tutorials on this and attempting to learn this knot while hypoxic from COVID-19. Not one of my better decisions. I finally came upon this and after many tries
Love this video I taught an 8th grader who has bin trying to learn the monkeys fist for a year and three months, and I learned it in two try's.
Thanks! I’m gonna use this for boating. I’ll attach the monkey fist-ended paracord to my mooring line so it’ll be easier to toss. I saw sailors do that from ship to dock.
melhor video explicativo!!!! adoreiii parabéns o video ficou mt bom!!!!!
Two things:
1) Tim, I've perused just about every channel offering paracord bracelet tutorials, and yours are the best, by FAR. Thank you for putting the time, energy, and effort into making these videos. I think I may speak for everyone when I say that.
2) If you don't have a steel ball bearing available, don't want to fork out the dough for 'em, or what-not, but DO feel like running to Walmart and/or the Dollar Store, you can use polymer clay, and a marble if you like, to make the center bead. I took a small marble from a bag I had lying around (bought at the dollar store), and some scrap Sculpey Bake Shop clay ($1/2oz. @ Walmart in the crafting section ;) ), and made my own 'ball bearing'. It might not be as heavy as a steel ball, but it's got a really good weight to it, and works perfectly for the center of a monkey's fist.
... Just my two cents (OBviously, LOL ).

You made it easy. Thanks for the tutorial.
Nailed it on my first try thanks man
way more simpler than i thought thanks man
Great, easy to follow video ... boy, I was worried I started cinching at the wrong spot, but I got it. Thanks!
Dude! Seriously an excellent video, and you can go four and five around, but your vid was completely clear. I can make these things in four minutes, now! Thanks a million!!!
You're welcome Thomas!
Thank you for the instructional videos, they help greatly. No better bargain than a stocked mental toolbox.
Thank you. I have tried three times and I learned! 🎉
Took me two tries, but I got it. Thanks! Something fun for on my keychain.
Thanks for sharing. I found this to be very helpful.
You could use this little knot as the core for a larger one.
That’s exactly what I did
Exactly what I'm doing :D
Thanks for sharing......
That was very helpful.....
I started with a Celtic button knot and got a really nice, even-looking monkey's fist. The overhand knot is quicker and less fidgety, but if you've got the time and the extra length of paracord I think using a Celtic button gets you a much prettier monkey's fist.
Great video,thanks!
THANK U! finally, i made it :) looked at so many tutorials.. and failed. this was great ^^
Very helpful !! Tks
great video got it on the first try. yes finding the starting point can be tricky.
Great, and thanks for sharing.
I have seen many monkey fist tutorials but none of them worked. But yours made it very easy for me I got it on my first try keep it up. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Great video. Some fun new knot to try.
This is where it finally clicked for me! I have seen a bunch of tutorials and I could not get it right. That is until I got to this one! I was on attempt at least 20 lol! Thank you so much!!! I have finally succeeded!!!
Thank you easiest one yet!
Great tutorial
Nice and easy. Thanks
Great job!
What a great toturial 👍🏻
Great tutorial. I used a stopper knot instead of the overhand. It used less cord and was simpler. Also, marking just above the knot with a sharpie made it really easy to find which line to tighten first.
Very very clear video... Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you!
Thanks for the tutorial I tried it and it was so beautiful please keep on posting videos like this I tried many other tutorials but this was the most simplest and easiest
Thank you guys!

Hola saludos desde Medellin colombia 🇨🇴 quedan súper las haré mil gracias 😊 👏🇨🇴Ly
Thanks! Mine came out great. Will be using to toss rope end across rv roof when setting up sun shade
I got it right the first time. Well done!
Thanks! You made it look so easy but I kept on ending with one side missing a loop and some of cords were not sitting flat & I had a large loop that I couldn't get rid of. Was hilarious! I think the mistake was that I wasn't sure where I started so might have started pulling the wrong cord. But won't give up 😂😂
Took me a few tries to get it but this really helped, thanks!
Thank you for posting this, I'm new to paracord and this was a success.
I love this tutorial the start was a little bit hard but i maked it thank you so much!!!
