When I first saw krump I was confused why everyone was cheering at dudes punching in the air. But now whenever I watch krump everything else just looks bland. I literally COULD NOT just casually watch a popping battle after just watching something like krump. But the first battle actually that got me locked in was UGLYFATE vs KONKRETE.
Imma be honest the first thing about krump that really grabbed my attention was the MUSIC on Kon's first round. Never really heard krump music before because when I first saw krump it was in the fusion concept event which is more hip hop influenced. Something about the music just caught me off guard when I first heard It and it gave me goosebumps and made me wonder how konkrete was gonna match his dance with the song.
Other than the song though I was still a bit confused as he started off the round playin with his hat or something. But then outa nowhere he started beatkillin with his chair and then from there on I was fully locked in. I'm still not fully aware of all the aspects of krump but the things I usually connect the most are just the music, beatkills, and the concepts within their dance. But most of all I can feel a connection through the crowd as they throw out their energy on the dancer and as it delivers back to me as a viewer.
edit: My favorite krumper probably still is Konkrete because I can connect to him the most out of other dancers as a result of his beatkills. 2nd fav would probably be Whiphead. And 3rd Baby Ruin

Mijo/The Streetbully is like the All Powerful character in Krump... Like Thanos in the Avengers or Kratos from God of War... Not too many guys can hang in there with him... It's almost not fair TBH... He's been doing this dance longer than anyone along with Tight Eyez and it definitely shows every time he dances... Especially for the real ones that know!!! Shout out to Ryat for hanging in there with him tho... He is a well respected OG on the scene and as far as battling is concerned... He is also one of those dudes in Krump that is capable of posing a significant threat to the very best that Krump has to offer... Especially when he's on his A-Game.

Mijo is a big dude and I think it helps put a ton of weight behind everything he does. All of his speed changes are insane because of it too

Yea this battle was live! ryat and mijo both went crazy every round. I got to enjoy this in person 🔥🔥 however, some things u can’t fully comprehend if u don’t understand krump cuz ryats first round was so detailed with everything fundamentally necessary for krump but his character was what its all about. Krump isn’t just a dance its a way of life. Of course mijo did what mijo does but even he has had more “explosive” days. He was locked in tho and the energy was wild 💯 round 2 ryat tho was godly😂🔥 love the channel brotha 🤟🏽

For me, Ryat win. Mijo did a great First round but the response of Ryat was a Madness, and the last round Ryat was better for a few. Was a Scenario por Ryat, because they 2 battle with Character, but Ryat is a specialist in this area
