Maybe he doesnt do enough "traditional" popping within a round? This sounds familiar to the same debate in Hip Hop. Hoping to see Hoan, Paris coming back next year...

In the case of the judges I think if you allow your vote to be cast for any other reason than the dance itself you're unfit for the position and the problem is then on the judge and not the dancer lol

I agree, I think getting a win on get down alone is not enough, especially against MT Pop. He or she needs a combination of get down or throwdown. I think Greenteck can beat MT Pop if he's in that Pop In Progress Group B and Cypher finals mode. With groove, Pops, Tuts, concepts, floor game, ground work, and footwork.
The music is just plain terrible. As dope as MT Pop is, Nelson is just more organic in my opinion. Which leads back to the music. How do you funk to 16Bit video game soundtracks?
I mean Nelson is definitely more grass roots funk style, but nothing MT pop did looks forced. It's all very smooth, his transitions are crazy and his musicality is damn near the best in the game. Hard to stop this man

But this is the top of the top, if MT is maxxed out in most stats, I'd say Nelson best him in "groove" & how heavy the pop is but MT is still more than solid in those & while Nelson brought his A-game in round 1, he wasn't able to keep up with MT in the other two.
