    People… look at trouts example of how Paguero is tipping his pitches. Trouts hand on the ball is on his belly button … his glove is barely under the angels logo… ppl keep saying it’s nowhere near pagueros belly button.. but it actually is just like trout showed .
    We are looking at paguero from an above to the side angle, not ideal…. But when he touches the ball in his glove for the first pitch it was at his chest covering part of the angel logo, when he makes the second pitch.. you can see his glove is much lower than the angels logo… and where he grasps the ball on his glove right here… it’s literally right near his belly button. If you compare where pagueros tip of his glove is as he grabs the ball… it’s touching the middle of the number patch on his jersey… when you see trouts example again… his glove is in the same area while the ball is on his belly button… it’s just an optical illusion bc of the angle

    • @boomshakalaka8567
      @boomshakalaka8567 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nobody knows they're tipping pitches until after they watch the film or somebody on their team points it out. I guarantee at some point you tipped your pitches and just didn't know it. Or the teams you pitched against were all asleep. And you can tip your pitches with any kind of body movement. Doesn't have to be related to your glove or hand. The only way to NOT tip pitches is by either having the exact same movements before every pitch (easiest way, but still hard to do perfectly every time) or complete random movements and postures before every pitch (good luck, you'll mess this up and tip your pitch eventually).
      Or maybe you really never tipped your pitches because you're a robot.

    • @blarmy827

      He’s talking about where the ball is when he first touches it inside his glove…which is at his chest… but where he’s touching it INSIDE the glove is closer to his belly button than his mid chest like the first pitch.. much more than a “tiny bit lower.”
      Watch the clip again and pay attention to what trout does when he’s trying to signal to the bench he’s tipping his pitches… trouts hand on the ball is literally on his belly button area…. His glove is resting barely under the angels logo… MUCH higher than the pitchers is when he touches the ball… the tip of his glove is touching the middle of the number patch on the front of his jersey… which would make the ball in the same area that trouts was when he showed it in the beginning… right over his belly button. They’re not talking about where his glove goes when he’s actually throwing the pitch…. It’s the area he drops his glove to grasp the ball properly for that pitch which is causing him to tip his pitches …. And then he raises his glove to his chest to throw.

    Ok I’ll be real first I’d have to see more pitches to make this conclusion but based off what I saw there isn’t enough change to notice a difference, look it’s like two buttons on his shirt that’s not that far apart, and also do you know how many outfielders are out there in their own little world? Trout very well could be out there playing around, or talking about something else, idk why you would call out your pitcher like that in front of the other team, that point your guaranteeing that the other team knows and what if this guy can’t just stop tipping his pitches and had to go 5 innings that day? So yea I can see trout being smart enough to pick up on this, but I also know he is smart enough to tell his pitcher in the dugout and not telegraph it from center field to everyone.
