    I have no interest in WiFi connectivity for my appliances. I am an engineer in technology so I am an early adopter of tech gadgets. But I want my appliances to last for 10+ years and the tech gadgets only last a few years before they are out of date.

    Hello Yale, I just want to thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. You don’t have to do that, and I understand, as you’ve made perfectly clear, your opinion is based on your service and selling experience. Sadly, I live in a state where I can’t tune a “Yale”. Your videos have helped me immensely with my upcoming remodel.
    My hope is that these videos attract lots of local and loyal customers.

    A comment as a tech. The data on the LG's has been pretty accurate from my experience. It's a shame they had so many issues with their linear compressors a few years ago, because before then their fridges were known as the most reliable in parts of the service industry who would order in bulk. Their parts supply chain is decent in the US, never had any issue ordering a part and if it's discontinued, I've had luck in using the updated ones. However, the parts are also slightly more expensive than Whirlpool.
    Whirlpool, they have the most accessible parts locally, can usually find a place near you to source (but only for entry models and ones built on them) and probably the cheapest in terms of price. Their designs aren't bad, but the actual manufacturing of the parts is more likely to be the issue these days.
    Bosch, I've generally found their parts are usually all available to order, which is great, but also cost a premium.

  • @NoOne-zo6gj

    There seems to be a big disconnect between what appliance dealers are recommending and what appliances technicals are recommending.. Many of the brands you just recommended have reliability and replacement part availability issues, some of the manufactures have even switched to cheaper and lessor quality parts so that when your appliance fails, you have to get a new one instead of repairing it. . Thanks for the information you provide.

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There really isnt a disconnect. I understand why service techs hate Samsung. They don't pay well f or warranty rates or at one time didn't. Plus this is a very staid industry.
      People are fearful of new stuff and aren't adequately trained to rectify issues. I love heat pump dryers, but shudder at the thoughts of what repair might look like across the country.
      That said, none of this has to do with us. We report the numbers dispassionately. We want to sell reliable brands because it costs real money to fix in warranty.
      Thats why none of the boxes and most of the major brands don't fix anything.
      Appliance stores carry and even market themselves as selling 150 brands. We carry 20.
      Half of the 150 really shouldn't be sold.
      So read and keep yourself informed....But ask this question
      Do any of these channels really fix anything in warranty?
      If not be extremely careful of that advice

      samsung pays the least for warranty work so of course repair shops dont want those jobs. and for the shops that say they get the most calls for samsung they are the most sold appliance in the us that tends to also mean that they have the most repairs you have to compare the amount of repair calls to volume sold to actually know the reliability

    What??? How much are you all getting paid? Bertazzoni makes some of the best stoves out there. "Regret" cooking on it? @@YaleAppliance1 yeah, you're being paid to make Samsung and LG seem better than they are. The way you just made Samsung seem like it's the best thing ever is obviously biased. We have companies over here in Sarasota Florida that won't even carry Samsung and LG (Mullet's Appliances is one example) because the repair problems are so great. Had a guy from another company in Naples tell me they are about to drop Samsung and LG from their lineup because they can't keep up with repair calls and it's overwhelming their man power. Seems like the only major companies carrying them here in South West Florida are Costco, Lowe's and Home Depot. That says a lot.

    • @dddduu300
      @dddduu300 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@YaleAppliance1...o' and regarding the Bertazzoni stoves, absolutely ridiculous review. Bertazzoni makes some of he best stoves out there, although Italian. Right up there with Wolf. So, I'll place a large bet that the majority, large majority, of people using these stoves would not "regret" cooking on them. Albeit, those that can actually afford them because they're not cheap.
