- An attempt to recreate Mortal Kombat 1 style of intros in MK11 using Injustice 2 clash animations with MK11Hook.
Tried my best to have them sticking as much as possible but with my methods of animation playback that's just simply not viable.

I really wish the new game had 3 lines and longer lines like X and 11 mainly for dlc characters cause I really wanted to see Omni man and Homelander interact

I thought the MK1 intros were Clashes, like during a match, you can perform a Clash and it will start the intro and dialogue, and you have to use your Defensive or Offensive meter as like a Telltale choice, for example Defensive will be X (for Xbox) □ (tor PlayStation) Y (for Nintendo Switch) and J (for PC), and for Offensive will be B (for Xbox) ○ (for PlayStation) A (for Nintendo Switch) and I (for PC), if the timer runs out, you fail the Clash, the opponent will get the upper hand, and if you win the Clash, you get the upper hand.

Honestly would’ve preferred that as now we miss out on the 1 2 1 dialogue in exchange
It’s a cool way to have transitions from loading to dialogue into combat but missing out on a whole extra line of dialogue doesn’t feel worth it

Renembering this started in the Injustice games, and was not as an intro, but during the fight. The idea of making this as an intro, comes from the new Mortal Kombat 1.

Some of the dialogue here really works with the MK 1 intro quotes, and I really do miss the original 1 2 1 conversations, but both work for me to be honest, although I do hope the 1 2 1's come back for injustice 3

There's actually no file editing involved! It's all done via code/memory, MK games since MKvsDC share the same skeleton so if you can pump animation data directly into skeleton data you can play animations from any MK/Injustice game as long as they're converted to a simple custom format.
I don't know about you, but hopefully after MK1 they will release Injustice 3

Dude this looks exactly like mortal kombat 1. 4 years and they didn't change much graphics wise
Compare MK1's stages to MK11's, while lighting and shading might have not changed it definitely has a lot of extra detail added.
They've mostly improved on model's LoDs. While the lightings and shadings are not that much different
they did switch to a new engine tho while developing the game in the pandemic
@@dewdewaman6095hey made mk11 with unreal engine 3 and now they develop mk1 with unreal engine 4, so it's still same engine, but newer version
2 things wrong with this video
#1 The Masks, he added masks for the characters because he was hiding the mouth movements if he did the masks would be moving.
#2 The Arms, the arms aren't even touching as if it's being close to an invisible wall.

Never played MK11 because I don't like it, but this looks sick af. Btw I'm still having a blast with Ultimate mortal kombat deception, and found out that the kitana crash is triggered each time you use her ⬇ + X attack (claw scratch); it still has a small chance of being triggered at the end of a fight,but I dunno exactly what causes that. Also sorry for reporting these crashes here, I don't really know how github works

No, I haven't. Are you sure they are unlocked?
@@ermaccer Yep. I did a test where I removed the modded PSP folder and booted up the game without MKUHook and I was able to select the alternate costumes

Gotta be honest, and its probably an unpopular opinion, I never liked the 1 2 1 dialogues, I prefer the new call and response intros of M1K, it somehow reminds me to the intros of JoJo's ASB but with a lot more budget.
