Not only is Amanda Gorman a beauty but she has a beautiful spirit. Very well spoken, intelligent, confident and wonderfully gifted. I liked when she said that she was raised by a strong black woman and they don't come to play but they come to win.

Black people are talented, strong, beautiful, courageous and lots more. I don't understand why many blacks in America would always refer to themselves as "SOMEONE LIKE ME"
If you think you are not good enough, then what do you want others there to think of you!!? Here in Europe, Black don't think that way, even though there is raciste. We go to the same school, same church, same Hospital
same treatment, and lots more. I can understand that the system in America works against the blacks. My gandma says, " you can not reject your self, because others rejects you". Try to dream high and work to archieve your goal! I am proud of my blackness and will never change my skin ton for anything! Good to you Amanda. Keep it up! God bless your dreams.
