Devon before the season, Rachin couldn't fill the boots
Rahane at the top, Dhoni at the end, them carrying niggles has hamstrung the batting. And the others, Deepak, Pathirana, Mustafizur (on national duties), all these factors led to inconsistency in team selections and combinations
I hope MS walks away from the team and let the youngsters take over, would be difficult to accommodate the retention amount for him, he's the heart of the team, but before the mega auction, he needs to have discussion with the team
Ruturaj, Jadeja, Dube, Pathirana should be in the retention list
Without Ms I bet the team won't be able to win a trophy
But Rachin's intent is good throughout this season. Rachin will play a big role in the future for CSK

I am happy with this years performance from CSK , not every year a team can win trophy all it can try to achieve is consistent performance and that is what we all got from CSK . what RCB fans did to CSK fans was absolutely terrible. I am happy that very mature , educated people like Flemming , hussey , kashi sir is handling the future of CSK with the blessing of MSD . Love you guys from BIHAR .

Also there are few more questions that why no TN players were picked in auctions? or atleast they should be roped in for trials to main squad. Also try to rope Australian, SA & Windies players in mega auction, their presence will be huge boost. Romario Shepherd, Josh Hazelwood and Klaasen/Brevis should be brought in at any cost. These slots will bring stability in middle and lower orders.
Kasi sir's mind is cooler same as thala's mind no pressure on the boys he knows they will take care so he just chills bad luck for the other franchise's that they miss the coolest management head 🤩 💛🫡🛐

It was a good season in terms of transition, I wouldn't blame anything in rutu but from the next season he has to work in team combination and especially usage of spin.
Next year or rather this year in mega auction I hope we pick top class players rather than picking moderate players and making them top class.
Remember thala is no more the captain so his style of captaincy cannot be sustained by rutu.
