When I was 38 years old I knew in my heart that I was missing something! I was a happy person and had a very good life but knew there was something more than just living life, having a career and a family! My pastor gave me a book called Come Holy Spirit! As I read the author said I could know the God of the Universe and all I said was that is what I want! A basketful of joy was dumped on my head and joy flooded my soul! Life changed forever and I fell in love! It was the beginning of getting to know my Saviour Jesus, Our Father God and the precious Holy Spirit! He fills my whole life and everyday there is more! Earl Saunders he was sincere but he was also anointed and filled with the Holy ghost. I can listen to him all day. Ive heard him say, anyone can get delivered just by listening to a preacher preaching under the anointing.

Lester Sumrall was one of my first Spiritual Fathers when I was a young Believer in remote Alaska. I read his books and watched VHS tapes. He was a gentle man and full of Holy Spirit power. I had always wanted to sit under his mentorship. He planted good seed into this hungry young woman so long ago.
Dr. Lester Sumrall's minstry had a great impact here in my country(Philippines) ever since the Clarita incident. The church he build here is now named "Cathedral of Praise"(formerly called "Manila Bethel Temple"), and it is currently under shephered by his nephew---Pastor David Sumrall.

I had the honor and pleasure of listening to Brother Sumrall about 40 years ago when I was a new Christian. I live in Panama City, Florida where Lester Sumrall lived as a very young man and he returned to hold a revival. He had a series of books out that explained the difference between your spirit, soul and body which one local preacher taught in his home during weekly Bible studies. As a New Christian I had no concept of how my spirit, soul and body functioned and interacted with each other. At the time I didn’t know what a great man of God he was but I found out many years latter and I will always consider that time of my life as such an honor and blessing from my Lord.
Well he may be a great man of God but i am trying to put away jesting or joking around 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. If i were all that interested in worldly stand up comedy i would simply search for it and get thousands of hits. It is sad that in the last hours of the last days in order to keep a congregation from being board to tears and falling asleep you have to throw in a joke every 5 minutes. Please do show me anywhere concerning "the Gospel" message that we are to be funny? Ya thats what i thought there is only tremendous seriousness concerning the Gospel, but man has decided that you have to entertain most christians into the kingdom. I am not but 7 minutes in and have heard 3 jokes that got a roar from the congregation, if getting to heaven requires much jockularity then this crowd is pumped and primmed already.

Im 39 watching in 2023. Ive seen a ton of preachers i love. Old and new from baptist to pentacostals and this was definitely a great message about faith. Id never heard of Lester prior ro this. Im glad i know him now. God is a mighty God and we seeve a good God. Thank you Jesus for men and women of FAITH. ❤
God could also trust Lester Sumrall to do what he was called to do. Trust works perfectly when it's a 2 way street. Though of course we all know that God is the only one we can fully trust forever. I LOVE Kenneth E Hagin's teachings, so it was with great delight that I heard Lester Sumrall say, "I hadn't heard anything like that. Brother Hagin was still a little boy in Texas." The response of the congregation is wonderful😄🙏 It's the 1st time I've listened to Lester Sumrall and I know why he said that about Hagin. His teachings on faith are vital food for the soul and spirit. What a great harvester for God!! Amen.

If i were all that interested in worldly stand up comedy i would simply search for it and get thousands of hits.
It is sad that in the last hours of the last days in order to keep a congregation from being board to tears and falling asleep you have to throw in a joke every 5 minutes.
Please do show me anywhere concerning "the Gospel" message that we are to be funny? Ya thats what i thought there is only tremendous seriousness concerning the Gospel, but man has decided that you have to entertain most christians into the kingdom.
I am not but 7 minutes in and have heard 3 jokes that got a roar from the congregation, if getting to heaven requires much jockularity then this crowd is pumped and primmed already.

I am still working on putting away jesting as it is deeply ingrained in me, I may be 60 but still act like a kid with the kids in my congregation.
I have seen plenty of stuffy old people that if they smiled it would crack their face!!!
I am not talking about being some stuffy old person that never smiles, but only too put away jesting as per the Scriptures.

Im 39 watching in 2023. Ive seen a ton of preachers i love. Old and new from baptist to pentacostals and this was definitely a great message about faith. Id never heard of Lester prior ro this. Im glad i know him now. God is a mighty God and we seeve a good God. Thank you Jesus for men and women of FAITH. ❤

I LOVE Kenneth E Hagin's teachings, so it was with great delight that I heard Lester Sumrall say, "I hadn't heard anything like that. Brother Hagin was still a little boy in Texas." The response of the congregation is wonderful😄🙏
It's the 1st time I've listened to Lester Sumrall and I know why he said that about Hagin. His teachings on faith are vital food for the soul and spirit. What a great harvester for God!! Amen.
