If you do want to do a setup like this please keep in mind I reccomend NOT blood mage. Infernalist sounding like it might be the best option purely to solve insane mana costs. Stormweaver, monk, gemling also viable options IMHO. Good luck :L
I'm probably going to end up with something similar to this. Currently playing an Invoker monk with the idea being to have 3 separate Elemental Invocations, activate all our buffs, and mash the spells to delete bosses. The issue I'm running into is that there aren't enough good spells or support gems in the game yet to fill out all the slots. Given how hard Elemental Invocation was nerfed, and Cast on Minion Death was untouched, I'm probably going to pivot. I experimented with using the support gem that sacrifices your life from your minions to deal more damage, but the amulet/aegis tech is far superior. My other idea was to do something with Heartbound Loop and Barrier Invocation, but the ES recovery is too unreliable.
Yup, a ton of the supports I looked at have the " you cast yourself " line bricking them for a giant trigger setup like that. I also looked at the sacrifice support you are talking about but what turned me off to it originally is the "only takes effect if you have a minion with enough life to drain the full amount". Not a giant deal but having to balance out the minions hp with my own was a little bit pain, in combination with it also having the "you cast yourself" line since I originally was hoping to use it in the trigger setup. Haven't looked at barrier invocation yet. It is sad there is no true cast when damage taken here because the options for abuse there would be truly endless with infernalist. Looking forward to whatever you cook up brother.
Go lifebased infernalist with over 100% damage recoup to sustain. Infinite damage scaling (about 15000 health recovery/s) for demon form sustain, fireball with Srs makes you take stupid damage to continue triggering barrier invocation setups. Can reserve some life for easy spirit. Pyromantic pact solves mana issues and helps with self damage. You die to one hits, but that's it. Lots of fun to play, but a bit rough to start. I eventually switched off to a normal demon form build
So fun fact Ky that goratha found out on his vanilla version of the build. If you take any of the "% chance to gain an additional projectile" small nodes nodes (based on your tree you're 3 points away from one above the faster/slower proj wheel by CI) you will automatically guarentee it procs each time you'd get a wildshard proc. So it becomes 20% to gain an additional 2 projectiles+wildshards essentially, this is probably a bug but currently how it is working.
Holy moly. That is completely gross, ty for the info I appreciate it. I wish I knew about that before this video. I am currently reworking this into a much more real build that does not dc you from the game. Unfortunately the current version I'm working on is forced to drop wildshards as that is what is causing a majority of the lag lol.
@@pathofky the principle of your build is not much far from his original CoF build, probably worth going through his videos to get some info on the fireball and frostwall interaction
I've been playing a similar build as an invoker monk. Few notes. 1. I'd use as low of a level fireball as you can to save mana, that thing isn't killing anyone. Your comets are. The fire mastery support is worse than useless. As you're casting fireball so often, mobility might be a good replacement. 2. For whatever reason, increasing the casting time of your triggered abilities doesn't increase your maximum energy on the meta gem. You should replace elemental focus or another gem with considered casting for a 40% more damage bonus. 3. Wildshards is bad. On paper it increases the number of raging spirits by 20%, but in reality it's both unreliable and mostly fires in directions enemies are not and is certainly not worth the 20% increased mana cost. 4. I found ricochet to be a lot better than fork. Fireball produces a LOT of explosions all over the screen and the vast majority of them are wasted. Ricochet (as well as jewels and nodes on the tree) cause your stray firebolts to home in on enemies after colliding with a wall or tree giving you a lot more useful minions. It's actually a bit of a problem in large packs as I run out of mana nearly instantly from the dozens of comets raining down per second. 5. Running comet on both of your cast on minion deaths will double the number of comets and give you more consistency. I have one setup with spell cascade & magnified effect for clearing mobs and one setup with spell echo & concentrated effect for bossing. I think I'm getting somewhere between 2-3x the number of comets you are on packs and I have about 3 divs total invested in my build.
1. Correct I have since dropped fire mastery support for the mobility. However the mana cost is so negligible on fireball that is not why I am considering de-leveling it. I am considering de-leveling it so that the fireballs do not break ice wall, which I will go over in follow up tomorrow. 2. Considered casting does not work with trigger skills, it is for " skills you cast yourself ". ( not triggered ). Edit: this is apparently working, went and tried several other skills with this line but none of them work except this one, likely a bug that it does work but I'll talk about it. 3. Correct wildshards is bad if your main damage focus is going to be comet, but I was weighing just how much damage fireball would do on single target. As stated I was legit mad at how brutal bloodmage's downside was so I was trying to make some big memes and big lag lol. But again mana cost on fireball is negligible, 99% of the mana cost is coming from the comet spams. 4. Correct again ricochet I've found to be much better than fork aswell. Although again fork was really there just cuz me want big projectile number and memes, also I was at the time of this video weighing just how much damage fireball was doing inside frostwalls. Because atm just eyeballing it 1 fireball is about 1/10th of a comet. Which will it doesn't sound like much I was wondering if every single part of fireball can shotgun then hitting even half of them against a frostwall on single target may be a lot of damage. In the end though did drop it and went with ricochet. 5. Can't run 2 comet setups would just oom even faster unfortunately. If you are not going oom I'd love to hear the current levels of your comets and how you are managing the mana costs.
@@pathofky The tooltip does update dps values when plugging in Considered Casting for the socketed Comet spell in the CoMD setup. Don't know if that means it truly works but seems likely if that number is changing.
Another thing to consider, which im experimenting with right now is chronomancer ascendency. Basically, i dont really care about mana regen, im using one comet spam which kills whole screen (and whole mana), then temporal rift = full mana again. Repeat every 3sec
I put this together at level 52 and it felt good then. I went to level 64 last night and it just kept getting better and more destructive. I had to remove the wildshards support because it was crippling combat in close quarters. I put it back in for bosses. Thank you!
Important thing about this build! I've been running this is chronomancer and also found other chrono build like this on youtube, build is quite bugged Every enemy that spawns after the map is created (so from ritual, breach, expedition, sekhema hourglass, delirium) can't be chain ignited, you can see at the end that rare from breach isn't getting chain ignited, and dies to srs ticking out from infernal army. Build still overall works, amazing mapping, but a lot of content is a pain to do, i would not recommend actually playing with fireflower on hard content or without decent damage
This makes so much sense. I was wondering why it felt so off on certain rares, I assumed it was because of a mod or something. Thank you very much for sharing this info I appreciate it.
@@pathofky So far the only fix i found to make rares "vulnerable" to chain igniting is... exiting and entering the map again. That lets me do expedition easily, but i still struggle with breach and ritual I was suggested ignite spread support gem for srs, but i can't say if it really helps. Good luck with the build! I hope they fix ignite interaction, and even if they nerf it to 5 srs per fireball main proj, build will live
Good Notice! I have been running a similar build on an Infernalist for the past 2 weeks and found countless of Bugged mobs who you cannot chain Ignite as well who can be very tough... for example the second Form of Geonor in the Iron Citadel. A good way of testing it for me was running a Level 7 Raging Spirits with Minion Instability so the RS actually die from the Low Life Proc and make an explosion(more FPS loss), so every time they run to a mob and i dont see the explosion the enemies cannot chain the ignite to procc the amulet... hope it will get fixed soon
I love this build. You know it’s good when killing stuff makes you crack up laughing. It’s very satisfying and mine isn’t even as ridiculous. Thank you for your effort and taking the time to share it.
This is insane and genius! I never thought the misc effects on amulets are applied by necromantic talisman! Do you think a build with choir of the storm + inevitable critical will(instead of self destructing to cast minion death) will allow each of your raging spirits to cast a lightning bolt?? or give stacking buffs with fixation of Yix?? Better yet, how about some crazy interaction with 3 instilled passives with strugglescream. ALSO you can run a sceptre instead of a shield in the offhand to solve the spirit issue!
With infernalist you can completely ignore mana issues using infernal flame, that's how I ran this build for a little while.. the only drawback was the hit from overcapping infernal flame causing an ignite sometimes which prevented my ES from recharging, but you can gain a lot more spirit/es/mana reserving the life and push for the 90% fire res to mitigate the hit, if you can find a way to deal with the ignite other than reduced duration on chest/a charm i highly recommend trying that version
I've seen a few suggestions for it, are you not damaging yourself constantly though with the damage from infernal flame? Does that damage no interrupt your es recharge regardless of ignite?
keep in mind if this build is the same as the one im currently using it is bugged as of right now and doesnt proc ignite on small enemies from breach, ritual, expeditions and a few other types of small enemies meaning it struggles a ton in this content due to minions not suiciding and creating comets on death
@ there’s significantly less comets than outside the breach hes mostly killing everything with fireball and not comet, comets still proc just only on bigger enemies during a breach
I acknowledge the fact your creativity deserves all the praise you get in the comments. But reading said comments, I feel like I just gotta ask: Y'all surely aren't expecting this to stay the way it is? Anyone with a grounded perspective can see that this level of craziness is a little too much, especially since it seems to be rather rough on 1, your own PC, and 2, likely on GGG's servers. I'd say enjoy the build while you still can, but don't be surprised if this gets reigned in at some point.
Great video! And good explanation! The mana recover from Invocated Efficiency does not work with triggers, you only recover this mana from Invoke, like Elemental Invocation, that requires you to press the button to cast the spells. I also made a build using this mechanic, but, if you go for mana stacking, probably will resolve a lot of the problems you have here, much more tanky, much more mana sustain. And probably Blood Mage is not the best Ascendancy you can go for this build, I made with Invoker, but probably Stormweaver is the best in general, because of Arcane Surge, but in boss enconters Invoker still will be more efficient in conjuring Comets.
It finally worked. Me and 3 friends were doing Atlas maps. Our latency would shoot up from 15-40ms to 2000+ms when all procs happen, but we were expecting that. What surprised us was during a new waystone, soon as I entered and cast we all got disconnected at the same time😅🤣
Although I did consider them, and still maybe am. My tree itself has taken actually 0 specific damage-type nodes. Its all generic aoe/trigger spells/spell damage/crit ect. So I see a world where you don't even have to worry about converting and instead can double curse/ double exposure. That's just my current thought though maybe change later.
NGL Everything is on the chopping block. Who knows really. They have ALOT of things ahead of this ATM though. Stat stacking, archmage, lightning rod, DD. At the very least if you do want to play something like this for the memes blood mage is surely getting buffed *COPIUM* I highly doubt it will be left in this state.
@@pathofky I think I might risk it and make this, lol, you do have a point, in the time they've left us be for the holidays, so many broken interactions have been discovered
Very nice explanation. I'll try this out for my other char. I personally would look for a different helmet, it does give you all your energie shield, but 20%+ damage is going straight on your health, which makes the build extra squishy.
this is a really fun build idea. If you're down to switch the ascendancy, what you could potentially do for the mana problem is grab a heartbound loop or infernalist with grinning immolation and stack mana and health recoup effects. You'd have to lower the amount of spirits spawned obviously, but if you grab the blue flame bracers you can convert the fire damage from fireball to cold and cause freeze which may help with mapping. I don't believe that would cause infernal legion to not ignite.
I did try the hearthbound loop off your suggestion. Unfortunately you delete your hp bar in 0.1 seconds lol. Would not be worth doing since you'd have to not only cut your triggers into like 1/10th of what we have here ( or more ) but you'd also have to significantly invest into tons of recoup. Interesting idea though and I appreciate the info!
@@pathofky That's why I suggested Infernalist. With cloak of flame and altered flesh, you can take the 300 damage from heartbound and split it to 120 phyiscal, 120 fire, and 60 chaos damage. With base capped fire res, that's lowered to 30 fire damage, and just 35 chaos res lowers the chaos damage 39 chaos. Making that 120 physical, 30 fire, 39 from each spirit. That's 1512 per fireball cast which is much more survivable. You'd still need to get over 100 health recoup, but unlike a barrier invocation infernalist build, you would only need enough HP/ES to survive the initial fireball cast and you wouldn't need to avoid stacking mana. There's tons of recoup stuff close to the mage tree, so in theory, you could stack recoup from jewels and jewlery and still have some room for damage clusters on the passive tree. Also im not certain if the ignite from grinning immolation triggers recoup mechanics but if it does thats another possibility
I wanted to recreate the combo engine of Volatile Zombies in Last Epoch, but GGG made it so you can't socket Raise Zombies into Cast on Minion Death, so even if you have a power charge generator it just won't work due to that restriction. The idea was to create a recursion engine that would summon empowered Zombies with Infernal Legion, Minion Instability, and Meat Shield. GGG also decided they would make Sacrifice not work on Raise Zombie either, so you can't use Profane Ritual. It's like they made this potentially cool skill and then explicitly prevented you from doing anything cool with it.
I wasn't sure if the spirits were dying or despawning but I had a bad idea when I saw that cast on minion death existed and you just showed me that it will work 😮
Very fun to watch! Any reason why you're doing this with the Witch other than what you say in the intro? I am looking for a fun build for my chronomancer :)
Have been doing it on my chronomancer for the past few days but without that many projectiles, with flamewall instead because my pc can barely handle it Great for clearing, but you need A LOT of manareg, it drains you empty so quickly and single target damage sucks, unless I am doing something severly wrong
the build I was playing was pretty fun (I'm currently playing other games, talented is great.), what I call the "no" build, use a +4 cold wand with damage as extra lightning and cold, the focus that gives 12% spell damage per spirit, a good spirit chest and ammy, spirit corrupt on helm, that gives you like 300% or more inc spell damage, which takes care of that, then you run archmage (no need to go all in, like 800-1k mana is fine) and the electrocute gloves. spell setup is frost wall with reduced hp, frostbomb and ice nova. basically you time freeze, then everything freezes from the cold damage, once it's not frozen it's electrocuted, after that it's stunned and you can time freeze again and if it's still not dead it's probably ready for another round of freeze and electrocute. also I'd take slow as the 4th (1 being 33% cd, 2 and 3 for time freeze) then run temp chains with the full slow package so if anything is in range it has like 10% move speed. it's basically a tota build, you don't really need defenses when everything is either cc for 30s or dead.
Nice build. Make me really regret going so hard on physical damage bonestorm on my bloodmage. It also kills me that cast on minion death only really works with infernal legion minion instability. I have like 6 skeletons, unearth, and zombies, but without the IL MI setup the casts would only trigger maybe 3 or 4 times the entire map. Put IL MI on the unearth minions and now it casts pretty much every group of mobs. Also stupid just how much faster clearing is with the IL MI vs just having a horde of unearth minions up as long as possible.
I am glad theres a build for Blood Mage too. Sadly I have put many points into +chaos damage already. I wonder if theres a chaos spell I could replace comet with. At this point the only witchy thing are the ascension points. Well thanks for the inspiration. Now I can at least fill the screen with fire.
You could try some hexblast type of setup, but you need more spirit for blasphemy curses aswell. Check new video on the sorc version you might be able to cook something between the two and go hexblast if you want to do a chaos version.
Been playing around with this , i found it works MUCH better fireball without wildshards and without snakepit and it casts tons of comets but you use MUCH less mana and it never lags which is the msin thing becausethat has killed me numerous times. Im running 3 comet cast on death and 1 ice wall mana remnants and grim feast .
Bit of an update from me. Been cooking trying to fix this on bloodmage because i have no willpower to level a new character even if it will be stronger by default :) Been running t15 maps all morning, only died 1 time to a t16 corrupted map, because i had 2 juiced rares with 30% castspeed/atkspeed mod AND IMMUNE TO COLD DMG :) Sorry this might be a bit long winded but i think every little bit fits in to actually work finally on bloodmage. Rare chest - 50 spirit + energyshield flat+ and % (600es) (1div) Oakswarn sigil crest - great shield gives us everything we need ES/spirit/chaos res/ upto 45% block chance on corrupted one (10-20ex) - this allows us to use Grim feast with cannibalism. I think this single handedly saves the build. The shield+grim fiest is amazing. Atziri disdain is still the BIS helmet, i spent 1div on max mana/es helmet with capped res but it was still worse. The better 2 bottom rolls the better it is, + 60 mana, can also find some nice corrupted ones if you wana push it even more) Dropped snake pit like you suggested, and added a breach ring with 260+ mana, 90% mana regen, chaos res and mana per enemy killed. This im not 100% sure about, im not sure i need that much extra mana. Capping chaos resistance is very nice tho. Double comet set up both qualities and 19lvl - one is set up for max dmg. Gems are (lifetap, ele focus, concen effect, biting frost) - 2nd gem is set up to cascase and echo, this just gives more comets overall with more area which freezes all enemies with frostwall that i now use manually. Gems are (spell echo, spell cascade, inspiration, concidered casting) I have swapped about the gems alot, and this is the most dps you can get between both gems. you can boost 1 gem to over 75k dps but the other set up is then around 12 but has no freezing and less coverage per fireball cast, this way its about 85k dps between the two, and alot more freezing potential, which first gems also consume for more dmg) Frostwall im not using manually, its still a great ability for blocking enemies from coming to you, aswell as spells and ranged hits. The health globes are a bonus too. The main gems for that is glacier and deep freeze so that when it explodes it can freeze enemies, glacier is up for debate but it stops your whole frostwall from being destroyed, only where the front projectile hit. -this means that it spawns a health globe, keeps some area along its side, which helps the rest of the fireaball projectiles bounce in close proximity. - this also stops majority of your SRSs from just exploding off screen and having to fly back to enemies, they mostly now just explode within proximity of the frostwall, and then die and cast the comets all within close proximity of the wall. -THIS also means that everything is happening in a more concentrated area, more specifically where you put your frostwall, thats where the comets are going to cascade. -and finally lol, this means that all the HEALTH GLOBES AND GRIM FEASTS are all bunched up really close to each other, you walk over them and you gain max hp/es instantly. This does not remove the hp yoyo by any means, but currently with this set up i pretty much ignore my health unless its at 5% or whatever and i cant cast a spell, since hp potion will fill it quickly, you will still have 4/8k shield and 2k mana. so youre not oneshot even with 1 health. Good potions are very good too, with charge per sec and more restoring. Talent tree changes : Mind over matter x2 jewels 2% mana restores on kill. thats the minimum you need and it feels good, you can fill rest of stats for what you want, like ele dmg/freeze/hp on kill, currently i have mostly crit chance from old build which seems to work fine since mt base crit for comets is 60ish Grazed flesh+eldrich will for 3% max life es mana AND recoup 3% of those on dmg+bit of stun thresh hold. heavy frost + thin ice is insane dmg increase with just 3 nodes that we are close to. removed eternal youth patient barrier+arcane intensity+int nodes at top aswell as ether flow. i tried elrich battery, but i dont think its as good as just having upto 8k ES Im still lvl 88 so there is room for more nodes, aswell as possibly changing alot of the crit nodes into something else, but at the moment its viable forgot to mention, you gotta play like psychopath. You need to put down walls on mobs, shoot your fireballs and run into the mobs as fast as you can, you usually just oneshot all packs, if not just run in circles and put down more frostwalls for more freeze. its important to keep running into all the healthglobes and grim feasts to manage your hp and mana. For bosses you dont need to do that, you can play back, and occasionally dodge into the boss to collect a bunch of globes
Hey I see you mention using frost wall manually then say you don't use it manually. Trying to figure it out a little better. Do you still have a frost wall gem with your 2nd comet gem? and also cast frost wall manually when needed?
Great work! I run similar build on my chrono which solves mana problem via rift. And you inspired me to switch from firestorm to balls for spirits generation. I wonder why don’t you use fork support gem instead of the ring? Is it damage reduction thing?
It looks like this would be a good build for Infernalist. It would solve the Blink issue, and the mana issue if you can fit the max fire resist nodes in.
love the build, inspired me to make a new witch (but infernalist for demon form) and trying to simulate what you do there, but not all the way. going for eldritch battery and mind over matter and ES galore maybe trying to fit Archmage in
Thanks for the interesting build, I am now level 62, manage to have ~250 spirit. I found that Comet can be stronger by adding another Cast on Minion Death with very low level frost bomb (cold exposure can reduce enemy resistance).
breach mobs hate getting ignited by SRS - there is a few chronomancer versions of this build that has been trying to fix the issue. (ignite icon appears on breach enemies but cast on death doesn't give energy like a normal map would) Nice variant keep it going, I pretty much had to stop playing it due to that massive lag, slowing down.

There's a barrier invocation build that does infinite on command comets.
Salutations Exile !!!
All you miss now is some musical to go along with gameplay in the end of the video.
The first true game breaking build. This is why I fell in love with POE2. Subbed!
Have you been asleep last 2 week? Its the latest not the first
I've been playing a similar build as an invoker monk. Few notes.
How are you solving mana issues out of curiosity? What's your mana at and what nodes/gear do you take to alleviate it?
Are you running Crit?
high value post, how are you playing the invoker that way exactly? If you mind expanding on that topic

Dude your build is so fun ! Refreshing to see someone actually try new things and experiment with such fun ideas ! Good job !
Q: How much shit do you want on your screen?
A: YES.

Love to see a fellow blood mage trying to make this class work, it is a struggle but good job on this one, the PC Destroyer xD
This is the craziest PoE2 build video I’ve seen by far. Well done man.
this is genuinely so impressive
I put this together at level 52 and it felt good then. I went to level 64 last night and it just kept getting better and more destructive. I had to remove the wildshards support because it was crippling combat in close quarters. I put it back in for bosses. Thank you!
Important thing about this build! I've been running this is chronomancer and also found other chrono build like this on youtube, build is quite bugged
Every enemy that spawns after the map is created (so from ritual, breach, expedition, sekhema hourglass, delirium) can't be chain ignited, you can see at the end that rare from breach isn't getting chain ignited, and dies to srs ticking out from infernal army.
That lets me do expedition easily, but i still struggle with breach and ritual
I was suggested ignite spread support gem for srs, but i can't say if it really helps.
Played this build, the solo-dps is utter garbage unfortunately, but mapping wise is great. Bummer, i wonder what one can do to improve solo-dps
Doesn't wall of fire guarantee ignite? Or are they unable to be ignited by that either?
Nope choir of the storm dos not work with minions tried it didnt work.
@ ah that’s no fun at all…
Yix doesn't work either
The way you explained was great. Congratulations, best video so far.

Well cant deside if ur serious or not but you can add any watermark to ur video so someone dont steal it 😂
With infernalist you can completely ignore mana issues using infernal flame, that's how I ran this build for a little while.. the only drawback was the hit from overcapping infernal flame causing an ignite sometimes which prevented my ES from recharging, but you can gain a lot more spirit/es/mana reserving the life and push for the 90% fire res to mitigate the hit, if you can find a way to deal with the ignite other than reduced duration on chest/a charm i highly recommend trying that version
I've seen a few suggestions for it, are you not damaging yourself constantly though with the damage from infernal flame? Does that damage no interrupt your es recharge regardless of ignite?
@pathofky I invested a lot in start up and the damage was so small it would pretty much instantly recover
Infernalist probably the best way to go then. Currently playing on stormweaver and still struggling with mana costs lol.
@@NolifeWarbalt when you say start up, ES start time?
@@killstar100 yeah
keep in mind if this build is the same as the one im currently using it is bugged as of right now and doesnt proc ignite on small enemies from breach, ritual, expeditions and a few other types of small enemies meaning it struggles a ton in this content due to minions not suiciding and creating comets on death
I mean he is doing a breach and is just slapping them around
@ there’s significantly less comets than outside the breach hes mostly killing everything with fireball and not comet, comets still proc just only on bigger enemies during a breach
@@Buster-tr4lp if things are dying, whats the matter?
I acknowledge the fact your creativity deserves all the praise you get in the comments. But reading said comments, I feel like I just gotta ask: Y'all surely aren't expecting this to stay the way it is? Anyone with a grounded perspective can see that this level of craziness is a little too much, especially since it seems to be rather rough on 1, your own PC, and 2, likely on GGG's servers. I'd say enjoy the build while you still can, but don't be surprised if this gets reigned in at some point.
any tips for reducing the lag spikes?? this build is so fun but borderline unplayable with the constant lag spikes. hope they fix that
Take off wildshards and snakepit, that alone will reduce the lag a lot. Version I am cooking up right now for the follow up drops both.
@@pathofky youre the goat!! looking forward to the updated version!!
And probably Blood Mage is not the best Ascendancy you can go for this build, I made with Invoker, but probably Stormweaver is the best in general, because of Arcane Surge, but in boss enconters Invoker still will be more efficient in conjuring Comets.
i miss the voice u hinted at 0:21 :(
It finally worked. Me and 3 friends were doing Atlas maps. Our latency would shoot up from 15-40ms to 2000+ms when all procs happen, but we were expecting that.
What surprised us was during a new waystone, soon as I entered and cast we all got disconnected at the same time😅🤣

What about Blueflame Bracers for the gloves? That way you can hone in on cold?
Although I did consider them, and still maybe am. My tree itself has taken actually 0 specific damage-type nodes. Its all generic aoe/trigger spells/spell damage/crit ect. So I see a world where you don't even have to worry about converting and instead can double curse/ double exposure. That's just my current thought though maybe change later.
Yeah, this build is insanely awesome and so is this game. Please make more builds, it helps me understand the skills better.

From 10:39 until the end was dope
Very nice explanation. I'll try this out for my other char. I personally would look for a different helmet, it does give you all your energie shield, but 20%+ damage is going straight on your health, which makes the build extra squishy.
I could never come up with something like this, but man this is why i love POE

Big brain build here. I like it. Good stuff!
Dude your build videos are my new favorite
That's the most beautiful build i've ever seen
A fun use of Necronantic Talisman keystone node! I am expecting that to big node once we get some Animated Guardian style gem to pump up.
this is a really fun build idea.
Subbed, great video and build, I'll do this for my BM
I wasn't sure if the spirits were dying or despawning but I had a bad idea when I saw that cast on minion death existed and you just showed me that it will work 😮
To be fair some of them are despawning. But if they are within range of a mob with their infernal legion then they do infact die.
Haha this is awesome. I’ve always loved Poe videos where they just try to break the game. Crazy stuff
This is incredible and is to me, the true essence of PoE build crafting
Such a good "Happy New Years" build.
DAMN! i didnt knew about the amulet otherwise i wouldve come to the same build but on the other caster class. awsome to see the servers melt
Very fun to watch! Any reason why you're doing this with the Witch other than what you say in the intro? I am looking for a fun build for my chronomancer :)
I have not touched or even looked at chronomancer yet for any build but any ascendency is likely better than this one so go for it Id say!
Have been doing it on my chronomancer for the past few days but without that many projectiles, with flamewall instead because my pc can barely handle it
Great for clearing, but you need A LOT of manareg, it drains you empty so quickly and single target damage sucks, unless I am doing something severly wrong
the build I was playing was pretty fun (I'm currently playing other games, talented is great.), what I call the "no" build, use a +4 cold wand with damage as extra lightning and cold, the focus that gives 12% spell damage per spirit, a good spirit chest and ammy, spirit corrupt on helm, that gives you like 300% or more inc spell damage, which takes care of that, then you run archmage (no need to go all in, like 800-1k mana is fine) and the electrocute gloves.
spell setup is frost wall with reduced hp, frostbomb and ice nova.
basically you time freeze, then everything freezes from the cold damage, once it's not frozen it's electrocuted, after that it's stunned and you can time freeze again and if it's still not dead it's probably ready for another round of freeze and electrocute.
also I'd take slow as the 4th (1 being 33% cd, 2 and 3 for time freeze) then run temp chains with the full slow package so if anything is in range it has like 10% move speed.
it's basically a tota build, you don't really need defenses when everything is either cc for 30s or dead.
Incredibly clever use of mechanics.

Im running 3 comet cast on death and 1 ice wall mana remnants and grim feast .
Awesome build but did you notice less triggers in events like breach or chaos runs?
Yes check FAQ. Known bug, rumor is ignites are failing to stack on them.
@@pathofky Thank you!
Bit of an update from me. Been cooking trying to fix this on bloodmage because i have no willpower to level a new character even if it will be stronger by default :)
Been running t15 maps all morning, only died 1 time to a t16 corrupted map, because i had 2 juiced rares with 30% castspeed/atkspeed mod AND IMMUNE TO COLD DMG :)
Sorry this might be a bit long winded but i think every little bit fits in to actually work finally on bloodmage.
Rare chest - 50 spirit + energyshield flat+ and % (600es) (1div)
Oakswarn sigil crest - great shield gives us everything we need ES/spirit/chaos res/ upto 45% block chance on corrupted one (10-20ex)
- this allows us to use Grim feast with cannibalism. I think this single handedly saves the build. The shield+grim fiest is amazing.
Atziri disdain is still the BIS helmet, i spent 1div on max mana/es helmet with capped res but it was still worse. The better 2 bottom rolls the better it is, + 60 mana, can also find some nice corrupted ones if you wana push it even more)
Dropped snake pit like you suggested, and added a breach ring with 260+ mana, 90% mana regen, chaos res and mana per enemy killed. This im not 100% sure about, im not sure i need that much extra mana. Capping chaos resistance is very nice tho.
Double comet set up both qualities and 19lvl
- one is set up for max dmg. Gems are (lifetap, ele focus, concen effect, biting frost)
- 2nd gem is set up to cascase and echo, this just gives more comets overall with more area which freezes all enemies with frostwall that i now use manually. Gems are (spell echo, spell cascade, inspiration, concidered casting) I have swapped about the gems alot, and this is the most dps you can get between both gems. you can boost 1 gem to over 75k dps but the other set up is then around 12 but has no freezing and less coverage per fireball cast, this way its about 85k dps between the two, and alot more freezing potential, which first gems also consume for more dmg)
Frostwall im not using manually, its still a great ability for blocking enemies from coming to you, aswell as spells and ranged hits.
Talent tree changes :
Mind over matter
x2 jewels 2% mana restores on kill. thats the minimum you need and it feels good, you can fill rest of stats for what you want, like ele dmg/freeze/hp on kill, currently i have mostly crit chance from old build which seems to work fine since mt base crit for comets is 60ish
Grazed flesh+eldrich will for 3% max life es mana AND recoup 3% of those on dmg+bit of stun thresh hold.
heavy frost + thin ice is insane dmg increase with just 3 nodes that we are close to.
removed eternal youth
patient barrier+arcane intensity+int nodes at top aswell as ether flow.
i tried elrich battery, but i dont think its as good as just having upto 8k ES
Im still lvl 88 so there is room for more nodes, aswell as possibly changing alot of the crit nodes into something else, but at the moment its viable
forgot to mention, you gotta play like psychopath.
Clever. Thanks for sharing
This made me kick my feet and giggle
Great work! I run similar build on my chrono which solves mana problem via rift. And you inspired me to switch from firestorm to balls for spirits generation. I wonder why don’t you use fork support gem instead of the ring? Is it damage reduction thing?
Damage reduction yes. But I've since dropped snakepit and any forking all together because lag and how it interacts with a single target.
It looks like this would be a good build for Infernalist. It would solve the Blink issue, and the mana issue if you can fit the max fire resist nodes in.
love the build, inspired me to make a new witch (but infernalist for demon form) and trying to simulate what you do there, but not all the way.

This to me ( at least being an infernalist ) seems like probably the best way to go.

Thanks for the interesting build, I am now level 62, manage to have ~250 spirit. I found that Comet can be stronger by adding another Cast on Minion Death with very low level frost bomb (cold exposure can reduce enemy resistance).
