      hahaha thanks for watching! Looking forward to our next visit over there because the weather here has been absolutely brutal. Rewatching this makes me want to move there o_O. I saw some pretty nice condos in Santa Ana lol

    Nice! Welcome to Cali. The P-51's main deficit is its drivetrain/battery, and that kit nearly makes it worth of the price

      thanks for joining us for this ride around CM, I really enjoyed my time there thanks to the homies at HW, Chimera, and Super73! My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we're thinking about moving out there lol. With the BAC2000 and the 60v batteries, it's incredible even with the stock motor. The p51 is a great base for modding!

      thanks for joining us for this fun little ride through CM! Yea man, I'm sorry I missed you, Shawver, and the Southbay crew while I was in town. We had to crunch all these videos in alongside meetings at work so I never really got a chance to hit up the LA crews. We're hoping to make it out to the Electrify Expo in LA so maybe we'll finally get to ride together then!
      I appreciate your kind words and the support!

      Thanks for joining us for this ride around Costa Mesa Khan! BROOOooooOoo.... they killed it with this build. The crazy thing is, the bike was detuned from its previous setting because it was a bit much. That means they can make that thing an absolute monster. However, I honestly think that build was absolutely perfect for how I like to ride. Quick and torquey but easy to control. It reminds me of how the Nami Burn E/ E2 Max's are with their sinewave controllers. I'm not really a fan of jerky throttles like the ones on the old dualtrons, wolves, and wepeds.

    • @khanrides
      @khanrides 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ safely going 40 mph + on 1 geared hub motor is something new to the ebike industry. Their controllers can definitely create beast bikes without throwing all the stock components away and without the risk of electric damage. 60V is the sweet spot between surron performance and chill e-bikes.

      I'm happy to hear that you've enjoyed the time away from NYC as much as I did. It's such a nice change of pace for the channel and a break from the craziness of NYC. The riding style is much more chill out on the West Coast but they are definitely going much faster all the time lol.

    Absolutely loving the Cali rides and scenery. I have to say... you are really making me want to get a second PEV now. I'm really leaning towards the Super 73 now. I love how you can modify them however you want.

      thanks for joining us again Weldon and thank you for the feedback! I enjoyed making these and it makes me sad to see how nice the weather was while we were there and I'm over here right now riding in a windchill of 19 degrees lol.
      Ohhh man, having a chill ebike is nice especially when you have a high powered scooter. You have to be so focused and constantly on edge when riding a powerful scooter because you can easily lose control of it. With a chill class class 3 ebike like an S73, p51, and or zooz, you can really chill and take the sights in. Its a much more relaxing experience than the scooters that we ride lol. It's a great bike if you go into it expecting its a true class 3 bike cruiser not a high powered emoto like a surron style bike. If you can get a deal on a preowned RX, grab it because it'll free up some cash for the mods!

      thanks for joining us for the ride and welcome back to the comments section! I appreciate the positive feed back and I'm happy to hear that ya'll are liking the new video set up!
      I'll keep that in mind about the videos with the faster pace. It's so much easier to open up the bikes in CA than in NYC. The moment you start getting some speed there's a redlight, a pedestrian, a truck or something stupid in your way that will slow you down lol.
      As for the next bike, take your time and find what's right for your use case. Alot of folks will tell you what to get but keep in mind that you're the one that has to ride it and you're the one that has to live with it. I personally recommend going down the route of the high spec bikes that look more like a class 2-class 3 ebike because we're starting to see poop hit the fan in NYC when it comes to the emotos and big scooters. I see much more tickets being handed out along with NYPD impounding them. However, if you have your own house and your city is much more friendly towards high powered emoto style bikes, go for it! I have a friend in Vegas that rides his Stark Varg everywhere with no problems.

      @@eyebahnrides I currently own a Wired "Predator" ebike. It's pretty much a ghost bike. Love it! The range isn't that good for me, even though it has two batteries. I'm 6ft and 270lbs stocky. With my helmet, winter gear and backpack with my lock/tools. I'm close too 300lbs riding. lol. Thats why I like your videos and group rides. So, I can see what bike I could get next. The was an excellent video, it's funny to see someone else doing your intro. This video had so much product placement in it, handle works, fluid free ride and I'm sure beyond rider 🤣. LOL I didn't expect Harrison to do the intro but when he did I knew I had to find a way to use it! I had way too much fun at their shop and I appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedule to host me while I was in town.
      Dude, the roads there are so nice... I hate that I had to come back to NYC and ride on these sht roads after experience that. The trail we rode through was more comfy that riding across queens....
      The tires on the bike are stock on the bike. Here's the link to the P51 site. p51bikes.com/collections/parts-and-accessories?tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=21115146695&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAmrS7BhBJEiwAei59i0Zh7CgAj_MiWq3CEIgZ4o0t4lHvO432QvDqxUbASU1jOIFGVeo38xoCLjwQAvD_BwE
      Apparently they're the Kenda OffRoad 20x4. I think they're much more of a "Hybrid tire" vs an proper offroad knobby tires because they're definitely not as beefy and chunky.

      thanks for joining us for this fun little ride around Costa Mesa! Its quick as heck and the crazy thing is, that bike was detuned from the "Race Setup" they had on it! It had so much pop to it. I don't really care for top speed so I love the high torque setup! I always thought that I wanted a 72v set up but trying these two bikes out confirmed that I'd be happy with a high torque 60v setup. I would personally run two high discharge molicel shark packs to keep that "minimal look" going.
      Honestly, I haven't been able to stop by the DJI store the last couple of weeks. They're still closed when I get into work and they close before I get out! Hoping I can get to stop by within the next couple of weeks!

      Thanks for joining us for this ride and welcome to the comments section! I’m sure it’ll get solved soon. I think it fit easily on the s73 but the p51 looked like it had a different bracket. I think the p51 bracket would fit on the UF but haven’t seen it on the bike yet. I think their biggest hurdle will be tuning it for the UF

    Can a 48v system work on a bigger hub motor and controller

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      thanks for joining us for this ride around Costa Mesa! Theoretically you can make a 48v battery work with a larger motor and BAC855 or BAC2000 controller. The only thing is you won't be able to maximize it because the controller and motor will be limited by the battery. If you're gonna go for the beefier motor and more powerful controller, you might as well upgrade the battery to 52v/60v/ or 72v and sell the old one to offset the cost of the upgrades!
      I'm sure @handlworks can give you a much more technical answer but thats about as far as my "surface enthusiast" knowledge goes lol

      You're very welcome and I'm happy I was able to make a video on the P-51 during this trip. I've always been a fan of it and have always wanted to try one but they don't have any dealers here in NYC. When @handlworks gave me the opportunity to take one out, I was super stoked!
      I totally understand what you mean when you say it's not that popular. I'm one of the few people in my community here in NYC that's always wanted one. I think the P51+ the BAC2000+ the 60v battery, makes it the perfect performance sleeper! I hope that more people are willing to give it a chance!
