My Dad passed away when I was 12 in 2000. He was 48. Coincidentally his name was Kevin. I love watching Jack because I swear his character looks JUST like my Dad did. The hair, the mustache, the clothes. I remember as a kid my Dad would kiss me on the forehead and his outdated mustache would tickle me. My dad was also a recovering alcoholic. I didnt get to know him too well so I feel like when I watch this show the visual of Jack just brings him closer to me.
So cool to see them as themselves because I think the producer of the movie did a great job making the characters to fit the actors natural personalities. I feel as though the actors personalities are similar to who they are on the show, which is why I think the show seems and feels so real and relatable👍🏽👍🏽
