Actually until I watched this show I didn't realize that this was what tv was missing. Not another dark drama or a sci-fi series. A heart-warming and most importantly hope-giving show that reminds us what life is all about and that there is no obstacle that we cannot overcome. It would've been a guilty pleasure if it wasn't so good.
I just finished the episode and it feels like an honor to have my heart torn out by this show. The superbowl episode kept piling it on...near the end I was already ugly crying and then old Randall showed up for adult Tess and for some reason that made me sob harder lmao the FEELS

I needed that hug. I thought that episode was going to completely destroy me (Don't get me wrong I was sufficiently destroyed) but the writers and actors did an amazing job at soothing some of that pain as well. So it wasn't just one long episode of tears and snot coming down my face. There was a laugh or two... There was a tiny bit of happy crying as well. This is us writing is some of the best i've seen to this date and i'm proud to be an avid watcher of this show :)
Even though fallon has a fake reaction to everything, you can tell he's genuinely so happy to have them there. I couldn't stop smiling. This cast is so beautiful and they let off such warm energy
It wasn't good for my heart damn lol watching the game and going all crazy then getting all sad watching This Is Us , can't stop crying but at least Jimmy was on next and made me laugh and happy all over again ❤️ thank you Jimmy and FallonTonight you are amazing !
I was in physical pain watching that episode. Mandy Moore better get an Emmy next year for her reaction to Jacks death alone. I absolutely loved (and cried at) the grown-up Tess scene. Justin did such an amazing job in the scene where he was talking to Jack I honestly think he deserves an Emmy for that. This show is the most beautiful shows to ever exist. I really wish we could have had an interview where they could actually talk about the episode because, in all honesty, this interview sucked (and that is not because of the This Is Us cast).
You need to watch the This Is Us Aftershow every week. I think this interview only sucked because Jimmy couldn't say very much about it so he didn't spoiler it for the audience.
I was still so traumatized from jack's death first thing I thought when Randall showed up was "oh my god she grew up and her father is stil alive yeeeees"
To be honest I loved that twist 'cause when that kid went to those people I was like ok wait and then they showed that girl again and I was like OMG BITCH THAT'S TESS
My heart just hurts that I will never see Jack (Milo), Kevin (Justin)and Randall (Sterling) on screen at once ever. Even before Jack's death. They are just brilliant actors. 😍😍😍🙌🙌
He is still filming the show so I don't think he is leaving yet and they have signed for three seasons so even though I don't know what will happen but i am sure i was not the only fan who started watching cause they knew Milo was gonna be part of it. TBH I wish they found another character to kill off, i dunno :)

This show needs all the awards! Best show tv has brought in a LONG time! I loved Milo in Gilmore Girls, I loved Sterling in Army Wives, I loved Mandy in A Walk to Remember and now I love Justin and Chrissy and all of them in This Is Us!
Sterling and Mandy always touch my heart. The whole cast is amazing. I hope this show last for at least 10 seasons. "This Is Us" is my favorite show of all time. Second is Dawson's Creek. This Is Us is one of those shows you have to watch with a box of tissue sometimes. I always find myself talking to the screen I get so into these episodes. The whole cast deserves award after award. The show is a classic already.
These actors became some of my favorite overnight after just one episode and I binged watched the entire series in a couple of days over spring break! There was no way I could stop watching and I don’t really care for tv shows but this was expressing matters of the soul’s journey in this life especially with family. It’s truly a masterpiece in the drama genre.
