I think this is the best deck of the barrens so far. I played its predecessor last expansion with a final winrate of 63% in legend. So far in barrens I have a ~80% winrate with it. (Also at legend). Obviously those numbers are inflated for launch, but I think it's a sleeper hit. Edit: I realize I don't run any of the watch posts. Too early to say if that's better or worse.

Deathrattle DH is kinda like Secret Pally. Is it worth it to put all these bad cards for this one payoff card which summons all the bad cards out of your deck? You could run 2 Mysterious Challengers though, and it had better stats.
Deathrattle hunter summons them from hand though. And yes think patches. It is definitively good to warp your deck to be able to thin it significantly. The purpose of the secrets is to be essentially empty card slots so your deck is smaller and thus more consistent. Whether or not the deck is powerful enough with the actual cards you put in it is another story.
Can someone enlighten me as to why Trump would declare victory after playing Watch Post on turn 3, but not keep it in the mulligan? Seems like you should keep it if you're interested in playing it early, no?

Trump likes these watch posts, and makes them look good too. But I played a game earlier where both the one that summons 2/2s and one that makes your cards cost one more, were played on curve. I just ignored them, and I still won. I was playing a mid range beast hunter, its not even that good.
I love how Jens respects our time by speeding up randomly boring parts (like Secret Passage).
Wish the game developers had respect like that. I think most animations in the game should be at least 50% faster.

That Far Watch Post did so much damage in game 2 that it effectively slowed Trump down enough for the opponent to come back.

Because you have to have plays on 1 and 2 to protect the watch post or they'll just kill it with their board.
