Great video. Thanks so much. I'm confused on one point. You said not to let the pot with the seeds that you put in the ground freeze. But.. if I leave it there during the winter, it surely will, as all good peony habitats would. So should I take out the pot in late fall?

Great video! Thank you for the information. I had a question that maybe you can help me with and if not, maybe you can point me in the right direction. I have some tree peony seeds that I bought online and it turns out the seeds came from China. A note in the seeds reads that I have to stratify the seeds. Okay, got that. What I want to know is since their season is heading into winter and I'm heading into spring can I stratify through the summer and chill in my winter or do I have to do it now? Or maybe I can chill them now and through summer and my winter and pull them out next Spring. That would leave them dormant for a year. Can I do that? I welcome anyone's advice. Thanks in advance.

My peony pods aren’t that big at all lol they are a lot smaller but some are cracking and there’s little seeds inside... can I plant those ? Will they grow?
My peony’s are white with faints pink on the outer petals and in the middle darker pink

After the seeds grow to 6=8 inches how do you go to the next step? I have a group of plants that came up in one container.

Can I do the same with herbaceous peonies?

It has taken 2 years for my peony tree seeds to produce little plants about 3" high.

I know I'm quite off topic but does anyone know a good place to watch new tv shows online?

I used 2/3 compost and 1/3 sand on the ones I got from you. I nicked the seeds to so water can get in, hoping they can sprout next spring.
I actually checked the seeds on some of the Japanese tree peonies that actually flowered on mine this year, and all of them are black and dried out already, but that was my own fault for not checking earlier.

Wish i could grow these...even in a pot. To find the genetics of one that would im sure i would have to plant about 10 million seeds...there is one out there. I just need to find it. Aupposedly there are some intersectional ones...but those are just rumors.
