I want to buy Lenovo ThinkBook 15 with i7-1065G7. I'll use it for web development react and asp.net in visual studio + docker and sql stuff. Is the processor good enough ? The ram seems fast - 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz.
@@cinemaoflife.6452 i just bought this yesterday, i have heard many review's abt this and have seen that there are soldered ram and only one extra ram slot, but in my case the 16gb ram was not soldered, it was the sodimm ram on the extra ram slot.
@@josiahsaji As far as I know this laptop has no onboard ram and just the one slot. For me that is the only reason that I'm hesitant to buy it. Other than that, it looks great
If this is the i5 version I just got it too. I can play CSGO only at 720p resolution and all on low settings. Its not fun on the laptop screen but on a larger monitor I guess it was playable at about 40fps. I do regret just not getting a gaming laptop. But other than that its a nice laptop and the cpu seems fast.
Personally I'm on a desktop for years now and since I've got my i7-4790k I haven't had the need for gaming personally. I can run Magic Arena just fine and that will be even easier on this laptop. For the rest I turn on my PlayStation or Nintendo.

I have not tested the PC i terms of web development, but I think the CPU should be good enough.

I bought lenovo e15 with ryzen 5 for that purpose. Ryzen 5 or 7 4000 series is ways better than intel I7 10-th generation

Yes it has only one ram slot to upgrade while the other ram is soldered, i would suggest u to get a good amount of ram as soldered!
