I'd love to see you make some content based around İskenderun and Gaziantep. Zeugma/Apamea has fascinated me since I saw the "race against time" archaeology when its mosaics and antiquities were about to be inundated beneath the waters of the Birecik dam. Sadly, the news reacquainted me with the area at the beginning of 2023 with the terrible earthquake. If you're thinking about Rome, it makes me wonder if you could do something interesting linking some of the many ancient Roman towns throughout Turkey. Honestly, though, your ideas are great. Very much enjoying what you guys are making and that you treat your audience like adults; not shying away from the conflicts and events that shape history (and make good villains!). Good to watch these diaries too. Glad you've decided to do them.
Rome in Asia Minor is a great topic that we would love to create content for - either as complimentary lore to another setting, or even as a whole game! Historica Arcanum can definitely use more Rome and more Anatolia.
I watched this video like it was an awards ceremony, ngl. 😭I'm so glad about the winner because even though it wasn't the one I voted for at the end, I always thought that one made the most sense commercially so I'm happy to see the polled population proved me right. 😆
This is awesome news. It was great to suggest this on the Kickstarter survey, but to know it was the final choice is absolutely amazing. I hope you include the Knights of Malta/St John and the many battles, including Rhodes. Cheers!!
While age of renaissance won the vote, will we ever see any of the other concepts come to light, because the Mongolian invasion of Japan and the hunt for vlad the impaler would both be amazing games.
I’m fairly bummed the result was yet another traditional medieval fantasy setting for the pile, but this made the most sense - and hopefully the others get their time to shine later!
