Love had already started to alter his game before being traded to the Cavs. Due to his weight loss and injuries he was already more of a three point focused player and less of the paint dominant guy that he was earlier in his career. Love also had the tendency of putting up pretty good first half stats and fading away in the second half. So, his numbers always made him look like a more dominant player than he actually was. Really good player at his best, but I’m not sure Love was ever the “superstar” people wanted him to be.
