Hi Amy I am cooking lontong since tomorrow is Hari raya like every year my family will wait for me to do it and they usually come over to celebrate. From my younger days I have always been around Malay neighbours and during kampong days we have the habit of sharing the food and kueh kueh for our festives. During Hari raya my house will have so many ketupats stringing n rendang fro my neighbors. I really miss those days. So from then on I always cook lontong rendang and kueh kueh just to have the festive mood. Once I try your style which is very similar to what I used to cook I will send my reviews .
