Barbie these ATC's look vibrant and fun,and have a colourful unity to them.Flamingios have that kitch retro look to them.The tiny stamps and mark making were the perfect finishing touch.(Matt) P s hope the baby shower party goes well tomorrow

The baby shower is postponed until tomorrow (Monday 20th) and we are now making it into a lovely English Tea party 🥳 Isabella had some difficulty the morning of the orignal day and had to return back to her doctor later that day. I think we are all going to get diabetes and put on 20 pounds. 🤣🥳🤣 We had to move the shower date, but what I should have done is marched that cake into the office, plopped it on the kitchen table and left it as a special treat and let the office staff take those pounds!!!! Your ATC's are gorgeous, I really love those flamingos and your colour palette. I certainly couldn't hear the clock ticking (I have one of those tickers) and how kind of you to make a special cake for your assistant controller. There are not a lot of people around like you any more that thinks about their workers, I remember one place I worked at where we got ice cream/lollies in the summer, we felt truly appreciated. I smiled at your story about going to the office and also doing your crafting because my hubby, although never mentions how long it takes me to do something with my art, says he will just be a minute doing one of his 'man jobs' and then true to form 3 hours later he is still doing it lol. I am intrigued to know if you did anything with your 'stamping paper' and hope you don't mind me mentioning it would be lovely with some watercolour paint over it and could be used in your projects. And lastly I do believe you are an Aquarian as you mentioned your birthday was next week, my hubby is one and so am I. His is on the 24th Jan and mine is on the 4th Feb. One late and one early, which makes us get on really well as he is so laid back and I am so feisty lol. (Two Aquarians together don't normally get on, but we have been soulmates since we met). We were neighbors since age 3 or 4 and we are still best freinds. We were inseparable all through school, and even though she's lived 4 states away since 1980, we are still as close as ever. For our 60th birthday, we went to Italy for a week, chat on the phone and we make an effort to see each other during the year. Shay and her hubby live on a beautiful farm in Virginia and I love spending time there watching the sheep roam and graze, their donkey overseeing the sheep and the mist over the mountains in the early morning until the sun burns it off. Her place is so very special 🩷🩷🩷 I've learned to take care of those who take care of you. Our business is tough work, so any little gesture of appreciation goes a long way. A simple thank you and "your appreicated a great deal" goes a long way these days. 🩷 The stamped paper will be used for something! I've seen others do it and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad you mentioned it. I'm so happy I can do my part to send inspiration and love your way. You are a very special subscriber, Elizabeth and love our chats.
