I had to go back to see what sweater I was wearing 😮 I could say, "Oh, that old thing" and I wouldn't be lying !! All I can say is, it's very cozy and it's a go to when I don't feel like getting dressed on a cold Saturday. I'm so happy you enjoyed this collage. Good afternoon, Elizabeth! I'm so happy you enjoyed this style collage and boy, would I love to try it using watercolor paints. I'll have to give it a try, but in an abstract style ....... I'm not an artist and can't draw a straight line. I know nothing about color matching either, this is why I love these cards. They are my big girl cheat sheet. I'm feeling better (and yes, I do listen to my body), however, today was an extremely stressful day at work and I AM POOPED ........ it's so nice to come home and see wonderful comments I can read that are positive and just lovely. No wonder my husband went down on October 1st ....... 😧 lots of stress right now, but I'm not here to complain, only to let you know how much I appreciate you. @elizabethnaisbitt1795 Elizabeth........we could be besties for sure 🩷🩷 Like your hubby, my best friends birthday is Jan 24 and mine the 27th. We were neighbors since age 3 or 4 and we are still best freinds. We were inseparable all through school, and even though she's lived 4 states away since 1980, we are still as close as ever. For our 60th birthday, we went to Italy for a week, chat on the phone and we make an effort to see each other during the year. Shay and her hubby live on a beautiful farm in Virginia and I love spending time there watching the sheep roam and graze, their donkey overseeing the sheep and the mist over the mountains in the early morning until the sun burns it off. Her place is so very special 🩷🩷🩷 I've learned to take care of those who take care of you. Our business is tough work, so any little gesture of appreciation goes a long way. A simple thank you and "your appreicated a great deal" goes a long way these days. 🩷 The stamped paper will be used for something! I've seen others do it and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad you mentioned it. I'm so happy I can do my part to send inspiration and love your way. You are a very special subscriber, Elizabeth and love our chats. I love weaving ...... I took 2 photos of Queen Elizabeth (different images) and weaved them together, it was so much fun and very cool ......... I think I'll do that again so everyone can see just how fun and interesting it is. The quarries are big, not deep, just very large and there is nothing to stop that wind. This morning, it is 4 degrees outside and guess who's headed out there ........ me and the boys 🥶🥶🥶 January is our coldest month and it can be just awful. @denisegodman3396 No trouble at all and it's nice to see you sitting with me at my table to enjoy this collage. The glue that is used on these pieces is Art Glitte glue which you can purchase from Amazon or on Etsy. I also use double sided table on larger pieces and adhere the edges with the art glitter glue. I never us a glue stick, too much warpage and it dries out leaving the paper pieces to come away from the background paper. I'm no expert with this collage art and can only speak from my past experiences. So happy to answer your question and enjoy your collaging. ✨️
