If you somehow managed to take them on 5M range, then it's lethal. 10 meters, TTK is shit. 15 meters - TTK is.. eventually.. Flashets will suck at any range starting from 7. You literally need to push hard with this ammo. You killed them because they deserve it, because they let you to move so close to them. Very overrated ammo. Usually it won't work. I always know when someone is using flashets on me. Their speed is 300m, you can tell it's flashets. All i need is to make some range, and whoever trying to shoot me with this, will be fucked from this moment. Flashets are absolute garbage on 10M range and if opponent is moving. When i am on 15, i don't give a shit anymore. If someone kill me with it, that's on me.

The new KS-23M evolution has combined the powers of the hatchling, the pump action, and the saiga 12 chad, and have become the single most deadly ambush predator in all of tarkov. The KS-23 users are completely vulnerable, boasting no defensive abilities other than their incredible camouflage, rat instincts, and creativity. They are purely ambush predators. i have a friend who is one of these rare specimen but he even is a one of a special breed he adopted the slug realy early but he likes to bring a backup shotgun for his main shotgun mixing ap/20 to magnum/flechet and he has adopted the "honey badger" approach never to touch the "rat life" quoting "he is not a little bitch"

The long barrel enhances the range capabilities of the slug while its high damage and decent penetration power spell almost certain doom for any prey that wanders into the area. Often suppressed, the shotgun sniper frequents the customs area for its mid range yet open areas making it the perfect hunting ground. In extremely rare cases, these fauna can employ thermal sights to truly reign supreme when the sun goes down
I met a player named shotgunguy in the official eft discord, he used exclusively shotguns, saigas and mp153's. He even completed SBIH with a 153. This was like 4 months ago too. He was actually pretty chill :)
I’d reckon the rat strat would be one of the most dangerous to encounter. Just getting jumped from the bushes is always a fear for me, and I’d reckon it’s one of the more effective methods too.
The KS-23 evolution path is different. You go from rat to absolute chad. Then they finds out that ks-23 is true chads choice of a weapon and they begin to use it for leg meta.

Tricking out an M590 and operating with full kit and flechette rounds is a whole lot of self satisfaction. Definitely a favorite which can compete with geared players.
I once spotted 1 of the Chad shotgun users in Factory fighting a helpless baby pistoling with 9mm. The pistoling ran away wounded but still alive, the Chad could not find the pistoling and began shooting in the sky in rage for losing prey...till it spotted me I ran as fast as i could to extract and thankfully i survived with broken armor and lots of wounds from the Chad.
I'm a pretty big noob and was introduced to the game by a buddy of mine. Dude had me run factory as a PMC and gave me the s12 with a drum. Loaded with buck and slug, I killed 4 of 5 in a hall before fumbling on my keyboard to poorly reload, as I was swiss cheesed by a frag, just after he was yelling at me to shoot and run. It was fun

In my experience, the 153 is far more plentiful than the 133 pump. Even got a starter quest that is like 'bring me 3 133 shotguns' and I'm like 'Okay, but I can't find anything but 153'
This needs updating, there's new king in town - you start with double barrel, you evolve to try other shotguns and then you come back to double barrel and you embrace the double-tap Magnum for maximum tears. Saiga12 is for wusses!

Haha. Just yesterday I was rocking almost exact version of the "saiga chad" gear you had on there. 20 round mags full of AP. Almost got through the night with only one kit. Loads of PMC kills, brutal weapon. Had so much fun. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who can afford it. You owe yourself a night of running AP-20 with ridiclous armour.
I believe it was real pain in the ass to make factory - reserve transition so smooth. Btw when you leave your voice during gameplay, it adds to the video a lot!)
i myself love shotties in tarkov. i love slow fire hard hitting guns. so i went from toz>molot>m133>ks-23 ks23 is literally shooting a big ass shell towards the enemy. and it has a fun round called the star. which flashes. for long range the molot/mosin does the rest. for close combat the m9.
4:40 - the reason i have another mag of shotgun shells (yes, you can reload the whole clip, enter inventory, right click the mag, and click install) is for these situations - i am not moving, but need to reload
Where is the leg hunter?, they have extremely good leg aim and have a shoutgun with supresor, even with the best gear, the leg hunter drops to the flor and aniquilate his prey the only thing that can defeat them is the granades to make them move or use the blind angle.
