Lone Pine is at the base of Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain peak in California. Very quaint and you can see the old Western movie studio settings where you can tour and experience where John Wayne, Roy Rogers and other Western actors and movies appeared.

Everything seemed decently gay friendly. We didnt feel judged with the places we went!
