The live from Met telecast of Don Giovanni was on last night, with Gerzmava singing Donna Anna with considerable vocal trouble. She wasn't connected to her body, her breath wasn't down and she had a goat bleet vibrato. She was really suffering. Not a fun experience. I can relate, i've been there. She sounds very lovely here in a very challenging piece with very long lines.
