Such a beautiful machine. If I could afford one (and find one) I would snap it up. I have been riding my RE Classic 500 for the last four years but this bike would bring me into Honda realm.
I like this video. You are showing the city, not only talking about the bike, technical details, performance etc. So, you actually show us what you do with your bike. And the music an essential part of the atmosphere here. It was fun to ride with you.
Here's a strange one for you....in 1988 my local Honda dealer was selling off the last batch of XBR's (UK version), with a heavy discount. I went to buy one on the understanding it remained untouched in the crate, as I wanted to put it away for the future (like, now!) They refused, so I walked away!! All these years later, I'm collecting a 1987 XBR tomorrow! Totally standard, looking like new. How cool is that? Loved your video, nice to get a woman's perspective.
The GB500 was one of two bikes I passed up when they first came out. The other one was Yamaha's SRX. Both of them singles, with clip-ons, kick start option and oozing with character. I hope they make a comeback like Yamaha's SR400. I bought one in 2018 and love its comfort and simplicity.
@@derrickwoods2803 It has one cylinder but fitted with dual exhaust ports and manifolds which makes it appear to be a twin. This engine layout reduces the exhaust noise and you will immediately notice how quiet the GB500 is if it still has the original muffler.
Wow, that's a great video. The exhaust sound of your motorcycle is so beautiful. The city along the river is so beautiful. It looks like a picture of you taking a motorcycle against the backdrop of the city. I'm glad to be a friend of your great channel. Always stay healthy. 🤗🤗👍🤙🤙🤙👌
Honda built two great bikes Japaneseduring those years. They are quite different from each other in many ways, but similar in others such as riding position and target market. They both missed in terms of market appreciation abroad, which was almost certainly due to being before their time. The GB500 was the first retro bike, which in my opinion did retro far better than any of the things being sold today do. And the awesome, 400cc inline DOHC four CB-1 or NC27 with its gear driven cams and great looks was the first genuine naked sports bike - years before Ducati's Monster. I've got two and 3/4 IIdifferentIJapanese Thank
@@RoadWorrierMoto i always found the front sus to be quite soft and the fairly odd geometry made cornering very unique. Carrying pace in a corner was fine but any slight let up or missing the line it let you know.
Like you saying it's not a Giant engine I have the 250 in Thailand, still sounds great it's an 87 BTw doesn't have as much fancy stuff as the 500 but hey I like it plus it's super rare here
Very nice video! I now have my second GB400, always regretted selling my first one. Is that sound from the mic in your helmet? It's captured so well! How does the other 500 sound, with the standard exhaust? A little quiet? Thanks again! :)
Yep, the sound is some my in helmet mic set up. I do think the stock exhaust sounds a little quieter, as expected. We’ve since sold this one but we already have another one. 😂
It's always interesting to me when a bike I'd long forgotten about suddenly starts popping up on places like YT. Yours is the second profile of this bike I've watched, and actually the more interesting of the two. (The first one wasn't bad.) Is this one of your personal rides, and if so, for how long?
Thanks for the comment! I own(ed) this bike through my dealership that I own. We have since sold this actual unit last fall but we bought another GB500 over the summer. So, to answer your question, I do own it, but it isn’t my daily rider bike. But I do/did ride this bike a lot. 🤷♀️😂
Think i've just sussed your name. Is that Road "Worrier" as in "Worrying", coz you worry so much about a bunch of moving metal parts that are bound to make sounds when being moved?
Argueably the prettiest bike Honda ever made. I'm a Columbus native but I haven't lived there since '85. Thanks for the tour!

Riding through Columbus on that bike made me miss Ohio. I used to blast through Dayton all the time. Rust-belt scenery screams motorcycles to me.

What a clean bike. I like the GB500 a lot. Sounded great for rev bombing under all those bridges! 😜🤘🏼
I just love the way it sounds! 🥰

Gb500 was a parallel twin not a single cylinder

Love the photos at the end! ❤️. Just bought one of these gems, can’t wait for it to arrive. Great video! Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for watching it! If you like photos of motorcycles, I have a lot more on my Instagram too! @roadworriermoto
Thanks for the tour of your gb
Beautiful bike. Probably my favorite paint & styling of any honda.
It looks both classic and modern!
One of the best looking motorcycles to come off the Honda production line.
Totally! 🤩
Nice video and a great bike. I have an 89 GB. Fun little machine!
We have an 89 as well! 🤓

Love it!! Awesome video, thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for sending people to my channel! I appreciate the support!
Super cool, this was my first bike. Absolutely love them!
It really is a fun bike. I couldn’t have it as my ONLY bike but it’s definitely a nice one to have as an option!

love this! Absolutely dig this bike!

Love the clubman. Great bike.
The GB500 is on my buy-on-sight list once i make my millions.
Good video. Cool bike!
Thanks for watching it!
Great video, I personally like the science stuff so don't hold back. lol
Great! I can hold back the #facts most of the time. 😅😆🤓

Squeeze the tank 😂 good for inner thigh workouts 🤣🤣🤣😘
I had a GB 400

Z1R Women's 22 I think?

I’m just a worrier in general. About everything. 😅
Top speed? Will it do the Ton?🤔🤪
You turn your laptop 90 degrees to look at your photo's?
I don’t understand your comment. 😅
