Love you Kay! When cooking fresh onions, it needs to be “low and slow”. Low heat, and cook until they are translucent. THEN add in your cooked chicken with the other ingredients. You won’t overcook your chicken while waiting for the onions to soften that way! Just a tip my mum taught me, 😊

I do love a good curry and that lot. It's my favourite Asian meal. This brings back fond memories of my good friend, Sven Vengalis. We would meet up regularly once a year for a succulent Indian feast. I would always have the chicken curry and Sven Vengalis would have the prawn curry. However, during our last Indian meal, Sven Vengalis choked on a fragmet of prawn shell. His face turned blue and he collapsed to the ground like a scared goat. Quick as a flash I jumped to my feet, and as hard as I could, I kicked my good friend Sven Vengalis right in his stomach causing him to vomit up the prawn shell. It was a close call and Sven Vengalis lived to tell his tale, to anyone who would listen about his brush with death. Sadly he passed away four weeks later after spending too much time on a hotel balcony. Fumbs up.
What really happened is you broke his stomach when you kicked him, didn't you? And he just happened to die on the balcony trying to get some fresh air to feel better. You've done killed Sven.

Hi Kay got a loverly recipe for you. Use a normal oven casserole dish slice 3 big potatoes. 2 big tomotoes. One big red onion. And slice one tin cornbread up. Then place a layer of gates on base then a layer of cornbeef then a layer of tomotoes, then a sprinkle of onions. Then repeat the layers but finish with a layer of gates on top. Place 2 beef oxo stock cubes in 300mils of hot water you can add a few beef gravy grans if you wish them pour over the dish place in oven on gas mark 6 or 200 elec. On the top of a pre heated oven for 1 hour 30mins key it is so nice please try it.
That tikka masala is a made sauce. If you read the jar it would say to add all of it to your ingredients. It isn't concentrated. I daresay the tikka masala fro the original recipe was the actual spice mix not the pre made sauce in a jar.

Theyre great, u just have to make and easy dumpling dough wich consists of 1 part water to 2 parts flour and a teaspoon of salt, and to make the filling you need to caramelise onion in butter and mix it with 1 part of cottage cheese and 1 part of boiled pressed potatoes, i hope youll see this comment 😊

I think the recipe might have called for garam massala, which is a powder. Not Tikka Massala sauce. That might have impacted the outcome
But it would still taste good, just different than expected.
