I JUST discovered ALMS had a youtube channel where you could watch entire previous races, buy typing into youtube "circuit racing". Publicize this!! if i had known about it i would have been here sooner! Love that i can watch and conveniently replay in a format in used to! Thanks guys

Great racing and I really hope TUSCC does very well next year, and I hope the new management retains as many of the great people who've made ALMS popular, and realises it's the people who've been a large part of it's success, and strong competition against Rolex Sportscar Racing, which is far less popular outside of the U.S., far less popular. Don't make it un-sportscar-ry and too American, don't ruin it!!!
This is actually the first time I have seen that New Prototype Long nose racecar, that is totally wicked looking, in a way, it sorta has the loos of the Blue Flame Land speed car which raced on the salt flats all those years ago, it had two wheel in the back and two wheel inb the front right next to each other......
Rumors are, P1 is going bye-bye, and P2 is sort of merging with the GRAND-AM DT's, all the ALMS factory-based GT cars will remain, but GTC is going to merge with GRAND-AM GT cars. Don't quote me on this; it's simple rumors I've heard.
One wuestion if I may in regards to the pit stops, if correct, the tire Changers CANNOT change the tires on the cars Until the fueling is done on the car, is that correct, and if so, why cant they do it til fueling is complete????
marino franchitti in the 552 conveniently has a tire go down and has to come in the pits when the 551 car falls 15 seconds behind..........tire changed...551 gets the lead...which they wanted to win the race for points. clean racing at its finest.
Doc MC in ALMS, their are several classes compete for class victory in the same race. The fastest classes are LMP(Le Mans Prototypes) cars. They are pure race cars. The slower classes are GT(Grand Touring) classes which are based on road cars, but contain lots of racing parts. LMGT is the main class of this, and the slower GT cars are GTC cars.
Tried really hard to learn about the series and like this ALMS broadcast having enjoyed the WEC live streaming, but let's just say the main commentary style (not Jeremy) is just too much for this particular GT racing fan ... sorry! ;-)
Lame how Scott Tucker brought Guy Cosmo onto his team so he could put him in the same car as Franchitti and order them to let his own car win. He's trying to buy the championship for himself. I hope he loses.
It's a damn shame that the ALMS is now dead. The TUSC series that supposedly combines the ALMS and GrandAm is another NASCAR spec series. No P1/LMP1 class, replaced by combined P2/Daytona prototypes, where NASCAR has used the balance of performance rape to make the P2's uncompetitive, as demonstrated by the Daytona 24. I hate the France family.

alms was so much better than the full course yellow championship we have now.

Can someone explain why those faster cars are racing the normal cars? First time watching this.
In ALMS/Tudor USCC, all the faster cars(lmps) and the "normal" cars(GT) are in different classes, so basically they just share the track.

Well it shouldn't, because its a lot more like Forza Motorsport 4, which is way better for multi class racing with the ALMS cars

So the Rebellions didnt race the ALMS season after all they were said to do :(. Boring P1
TheFinlander11 they did parts of it, but pulled out and cut down their LMP1 effort to develop a new LMP1 car for 2014.
