If you're having trouble getting the 195, try to start with the areas where a bunch of smaller countries are together so that when the screen zooms out, they're easier to see. Having like, 150-185 countries when the screen is zoomed out means that you'll only worry about the bigger pieces of land by the end.

On a New game, if you get all 195 countries right after you beat "Make the Moon" for the first time on that save file, the message sadly doesn't appear. It's just the generic "Fin." message.
Same.. a lot of the time I try and go to get the Vatican really early and I think I usually miss a pacific island nation before I go.. I’m not really sure though

It would've been cool if they updated this ending and added a few more of the more modern nations.
