Didn’t Dirk play twenty seasons and into his forties? I know he wasn’t that great at the end, but he seems like the obvious comparison to bring up, and they never do
Dirk retired at 40, and he played 21 seasons. Only 5 total players have played 21 seasons. As for ppg, Kevin Willis averaged 2, Kevin Garnett averaged 3, Robert Parrish averaged 4, Vince carter averaged 7, and dirk averaged 7. All of that adds up to 23, and lebron will probably average more than all of them combined.

The 2000s was the lowesr scoring decade in nba history at 98 ppg on average per team per game for 10 years. In 03 Lebron's rookie season scoring was 93ppg. The 2020s is the highest scoring decade since the 80s and will surprise it. Come on Nick you know those numbers aren't a direct comparison.

1) Vic Lombardi was the guy who said the "Lakers' daddy" quote.
2) Malone was absolutely right to call out LeBron's fake retirement speech.
3) Even as the champions, the Nuggets will still fly under the radar and will not be seen as favourites to win the championship. Especially after the big Milwaukee and Boston trades.
When you're a non-legacy franchise you have to win multiple championships to matter, like GSW did, no one cared about the Warriors before that. He should stop trying to take his inadequate feeling out on the Lakers and LeBron - he needs to learn some class.

I expect that lebron will be much more available this year. The last few years, he had to carry the load offensively to put any kind of pressure on opposing defenses. Now that the lakers have an array of weapons and Lebron can be a part of an offense instead of all of it, he can conserve himself much more efficiently. I expect his defense will improve too for the same reason.

Even with the game being faster and more open now compared to when LeBron started hid career it's insane that his stats are all higher and more efficient in years 19 and 20 than 3 and 4. We all know his final thing he wants to do is play one year with his son. Should've put that energy into playing better during the Conference Finals: you could've won a game or two. Now, there's this big hoopla around the Nuggets "being" the Lakers' enemy. LA got swept; being salty over it doesn't change anything, Nick. Furthermore, no team worth its salt is sitting around fretting whether they're "underdogs" or being "hunted"; their primary concern is to win and put themselves in the best position to do so. You entertainers put more emphasis on narratives than tangible outcomes, which is what's actually important.
Malone also said at the parade that Bruce wasn’t leaving and he walked right out the door. Malone isn’t a great coach , he just got lucky Jokic had a healthy jamaal Murray
