This was our annual trip to Smith Mountain Lake for the big bass tour. It’s a really cool tournament to compete in. Doesn't cost a ton of money, and has some pretty good payouts.
We focused on the shad spawn in the morning first thing. Then transition to docks once the sun came up.  Are used a spook in the morning. Then skipped docks with either a senko or an neko rig once the sun came up. We did catch some fish off the bed

Unfortunately you can be at the bump tank and they will ask if you’re weighing. I got knocked to 3rd first hour Sunday same deal. 4 people declared they were weighing in the waining seconds and one ended up weighing a 5 🤦‍♂️

Oh I learned my lesson this year. So much of it is strategy. Last year I had a 4.37 and the boat ran rough so we didn’t make it in the hour we wanted. Would have been in 10th if we made it. Turns out we weighed in the next hour and got 2nd. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
