Such love put into such a hated boss. Scadutree avatar is art. Sort of reminds me of abyss watchers with the calmer and more somber theme in the last phase.
@@SuleX00-ov5ipIf you never played DS3, I pity you. But hey, you can't* let a mimic play the game for you in Dark Souls so I get why you people avoid these games.

I found it to be quite dynamic and fun. The timings for the attacks were quite a puzzle and the dodge timings of the projectiles were hard at first but after I learned how to dodge them it was pretty consistent. Also its attacks are incredibly punishable if you manage to not get hit by them.
@@deadlyapple8333 The projectiles are super easy to dodge. The timing is similar to the erdtree avatar’s holy blasts. Its attacks are not hard to dodge, and it’s annoying that you can really only damage on its head. This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact it moves like a snake on crack. Also, three health bars with little to no variation is lame as fucking hell. Also, not to be that guy but a flower has virtually no mass, therefore the force it generates on hits should be little compared to anything else. Also, the Scadutree arena looks like actual throw up. My point is, this boss looks like shit, has little to no variation in his phases, and moves around so much that the fight becomes overly tedious. For me, this boss is easily the worst in the entire game.
@@djvg7607 what's crazy is that you're being 'that guy' by applying logic to a boss that has flower and plant-like qualities but is very clearly not just 'a flower'. and if you think it's tedious, use something that has fire damage on it. its weak as hell to fire. it having no variation between phases is a straight up lie. in second phase he gets the dash attack and has 2 of his moves changed while being faster and third phase it gets the golden explosion which is probably his most difficult attack. also he definitely does not move around that much, which is why his dash in phase 2 is so surprising, because he's stationary otherwise. also there's no way it's below fortissax and senessax on the tier list. i respect the opinion but that just aint it
@@spicymeatandseafoodfry6648 His dash attack only increases the time between damage phases which increases the tedious nature of the fight. All his magic attacks are super easy to avoid to the point where the fight loses charm. Also, I said, “little to no variation.” Just because he swings his arms a little more chaotically, doesn’t mean his fight is dynamic and engaging. In addition, I think you actually shed light on an important boss design flaw. If I am wanting to speed through the boss rather than learn it, then the boss is probably not engaging. Furthermore, to me it is tedious. Fortisaxx’s arena, design, and ost are incredible to me. As for Senessax, I simply enjoy fighting dragons. I think Fromsoft should have leaned more into the design philosophy of making this boss more plant-like and less snake-like. After all, it is a plant that is assumed to be made out of flora rather than wood like the erdtree avatars.

Scadutree avatar is hated?? It was a pleasant surprise to fight for me
I don't see any hate for this boss. Must be coming from the ds3 fans.
@@SuleX00-ov5ip as a ds3 fan, I don’t hate it

@@logic6615 Ohh you're godsent! Thank you very much!!
Amazing choice! Love to see an underrated boss theme get covered. This is one of the most memorable from the DLC imo.
Great work it sounds awesome 💜
Thanks! That means a lot coming from you. Glad you could enjoy it😄
Easily the most underrated track in the DLC.
Imo the best OST from SOTE. Thank you @Logic !
I loved the boss fight, but it was too weak when I fought it, so I was really sad, then they buffed it and it wrecked 2 of my friend's lives 😂😂
Este es mi Boss favorito
Better than original
This boss is at the bottom of F tier. But great song though!

This was one of the only bosses I liked from this dlc as it isn’t too difficult while still being fun. Gaius and radahn just aren’t fun at all for me.
