Have you tried jelly tots, club bars/biscuits, black jacks/fruit salads and the sherbert space ships :)
As a Canadian. We got lots of the same candies from UK. And yes, our smarties are the same as the British smarties.
Yep Canadian here too and yeah our candy is similar to uk candy which should not be a surprise 😂
Another Canadian here. I was shocked that the us doesn’t have Aeros! They’re one of our main four chocolate bars (here in Ontario at least)

I love the way Alexa explained the orange juice in Tupperware thing. I do the same thing when describing flavors and people look at me like I’m so weird.

They actually have the “Toffifay” as they’re called here, in the USA! I grew up in Canada with these chocolates so when I found them on shelves in the US it was so exciting :)
Yes! Canada, we say ToffiFAY
We say toffifay in parts of Europe too lol
We say it the same in the Netherlands.

You would love Terry's Chocolate Orange. The original is orange-shaped and comes in a box. Also done as a bar and in a bag as small pieces.
Terry's are soo good didn't think I would like them and you can find them here in the US. I discovered those when I went to UK didn't get to try everything but aero is so good too. Some of those UK products you can get in US. The cakes do sound good I love almond extract and a bit of cherry. Never tried them together
They was a very funny debate if they should be classed as cakes which are not taxed or a chocolate biscuit that is. I believe it actually went to court I believe they said they was actually cakes

Even though I was born in California, I grew up on most of these. My mom was born in England and used to take me to a British grocery store nearby where I grew up in California. Ribena is my favorite! Also, I used to LOVE Aero!

Omg Carrie- we totally have black and red currants in the US 😅 my dad grows them! Black currant also makes a fantastic wine!
I have heard you get them in russian stores.
@@salo81 he just got them from his local nursery (literally) at the end of his road 🤷♀️ We're up in Wisconsin- not sure if that makes a difference or not. 3 years ago the Japanese beetles **desecrated** his bushes though (both red and black) and they never recovered 😪 No more currant wine for me 😭😭
Can confirm smarties are chocolate here in Canada, and USA smarties are called rockets here. We also have most of the British snacks here that are in this video. Areo also has a plain chocolate, vanilla chocolate, and orange chocolate flavour version but i think the mint is the original. Also terry's chocolate orange is the best. It's not christmas without terry's and then after dark mints. lol

As someone with family in the UK and growing up with all of these snacks, these videos are so entertaining! I live in the US so I kinda get the best of both worlds but also the worst cravings for things I can’t get here. Haha

Jaffa cakes are one of my favourite things in the world 😍 could easily eat an entire packet!
They not always orange flavoured I have had lime, strawberry, pineapple and blackcurrant flavoured ones the orange ones are the most common
I can remember there were thirteen in the pack. I used to do a count on my guilt when eating them!

Can't relate to rubbing cornstarch, but girlllll - fricken paper towels rubbing together and the feel of grabbing cotton balls (or the cotton from new vitamin bottles) gives me the same reaction.

I know EXACTLY what you mean in regards to cornstarch! I buy it in a box and when I need it for cooking I have someone else measure it for me 😂

In America we do have a version of like a Jaffa Cake that we find at Big Lots. Delisana sponge cakes is the brand.
We've gotten different flavors such as orange, raspberry and strawberry.
My fiancé loves them.
We also do have those toffee candies in America but we call them "Toffifay".
They come in a white box as opposed to the bright orange British box.
I don't like the orange jelly in jaffa cakes but we have 'Pim's' in Belgium and they are identical BUT they also sell them with raspberry flavoured jelly and I love those! 😀

This is so interesting. I am Canadian on the East Coast of Canada and we have a lot of the same snacks. I do not like wine guns they are weird. I have recently seen Squishy in store's here, the bubble gum flavor is amazing!

We have those Toffifee(?) things, they're just called Toffifay here. I've loved them since I was a kid! I always forget about them when I'm looking around the store for a treat tho, lol

In Poland we have the same kinds of Jaffa cakes but they are called Delicije and they come in many many different flavored jellies. They are very popular there.

Have you tried the McVities Gold Bar yet? A friend of mine in the UK sent me a package this year and there were a few of those in there. Hands down the best thing I have ever had from the UK so far! The inside crispy part tastes like Kix cereal. Ugh. SO good!

We have currents in Kansas and a rare find in Alabama. My grandparents had a current bush right behind their house out in Kansas and I used to pick them right off and eat them.

I honestly used to get glacier cherries and eat them as a snack i dont like the almond flavour normall and cherry flavour things but i love a bakewell tart you should get carrie to try the ice cream flavour chewits carrie needs to try a topic its the cross between a mars bar and kinder bar xx

Toffifee is definitely available in the US. Walgreens has them.
I'm from Canada and we have almost all of these treats. Toffifee we pronounce differently and we don't have the lion bar but it sounds like our wonder bar. The "smarties" through me off the most as we have the same as the UK and yours we call rockets
I think in the Jaffa cakes,the jelly is more of a marmalade jam

Yes we do have the same Smarties here in Canada as Britain does. We also have Winegums, Toffifee, and Aero bars. Smarties are ok but definitely not as good as M&Ms

In Canada we have a weird mix of US and UK candies. I’d be curious for you to try some of our stuff too like butter tarts lol
The powder on the jelly babies is just icing sugar. It stops them sticking together in the pack
After watching your uk series, im realizing that Canada has a lot in common with the brits! We're part of their commonwealth and what not, but the candy is similar too?! Who knew.
