I am a marketer but had never advertised on Amazon. This video is amazing for getting a good grasp on MBA ads. Thank you. Kicked off my ads today, here's to hoping it works well
Thank you for this video, Philip! I predict it will be a popular one for your channel because so many sellers - especially in the lower tiers - are unfamiliar with ads and have a ton of questions. I've already watched this a couple times, and I definitely plan to watch it again once I get access to ads. Thanks!
Great video Philip. Learned a lot. Would you know why I don't see the columns of suggested bid and my bid as it appears on your dashboard? If I have changed some settings then how can I bring it back?
Very good information Philip. Do you plan to create a video on creating lottery ads campaign soon? Since I am new to Advertising on this platform, I would love to try the lottery campaign first.- Thanks!
Nice, that´s very comprehensive. Great ACOS!🥳 Can you do more advanced ad tutorials? Unfortunately, I don't have access to ads for MBA (low tiers), but I do for KDP. Thanks!
@@PhilipAnders Hey Philip, thanks for asking. Things like; any ad strategy for highly competitive niches, how to organize the campaigns and portfolios to get rid of old campaigns on the platform, and should we run ads immediately after publishing a listing? I run lottery ad campaigns and they work well for me. Thanks a lot. Good day!
Hi Philip! Do I understand correctly based on what you said at about 11:15 in the video, it could be a reasonable strategy to have an ad campaign with all my designs (currently about 140 designs) with a low bid, so that they would all potentially be advertised if they match a customer's search? Is it okay if the products are unrelated to each other, in totally various niches?
Yes you are correct. I will make a video about these so called lottery campaigns in the future as well. Amazon will advertise each product individually based on its listing data, so they can be in different Niches👍
wow, Such useful infos, one of the best if not the best at all. great exmaple, tnx for sharing. Appreciated. may i know how many clicks on keyword in serch term you need to go try it in manual campaign? or should i just do it from first sell i get on it? Thank you
Great video. Can I place my best sellers in one ad campaign if they have varying niches? Or do campaigns have to be niche specific. Not sure if amazon selects keywords based on campaign in general or individual shirts. Thanks
I hate to bug you but I have a question about Amazon advertising. I’ve noticed there are times when there are sales indicated in the ad console and some of those sales are not reflected in the amazon Merch on Demand console. I sent a note to Amazon advertising and their response was “Please know that Amazon Advertising sales are not recorded the same way that Amazon Merch on Demand sales are recorded.” If that’s the case then how can you trust the metrics in the advertising sales console?
That's a good question! I have noticed this as well but happens very rarely. I don't have an explanation either unfortunately. But the majority of the time the data seems to be accurate for me and be reflected in merch sales
Quick question about Amazon ads. Say i create a campaign called 'halloween'. In that campaign i include 18 designs which are about halloween, but they are all individual designs which incorporate all kinds of evergreen niches. Is this correct? As i wonder if when you create a campaign it should just be 1 focused design about a focused set of keywords.
I set up my first campaign following this tutorial, but 4 days later i still have no graph and no data in my campaign manager. Does that mean something went wrong or do i just need to be more patient?
@@PhilipAnders Thanks for the reply! I increased my bids substantially (they are now higher than the highest recommended bids) and that did seem to do something, as i saw more impressions coming in. But even still, getting a total of 175 impressions since start of the campaign on september 9th is not great, haven't gotten a single click yet
Thank you for your video! You actually inspire me to keep going forward with POD. I actually have a quick question if you don't mind. Should the niche score number that Productor displays be higher or lower when searching for niches?
I am glad to hear my videos are inspiring to you :) Tbh I never look at the Niche score. You might have to ask their support team. I have a video about my methods of validating Niches in case you haven't seen it yet th-cam.com/video/pfFopk1pvh0/w-d-xo.html
Hi Philip. I'm seeing good results from my ads, but I have some designs which I would like to more aggressively advertise. Can you describe a good/reasonable aggressive ad strategy? I'm thinking of something along the lines of bidding high at maybe $0.35-40 until the design sells a few times, then bump the bid back down to a reasonable level once the design has a decent BSR. Likewise, what is the most aggressive strategy you've taken on a design you had good faith in?
Very good question! I haven't experimented with very aggressive ads that much. But I have sometimes gone as high as 80 cents for bids on seasonal trends to get my designs (which I had good faith in) to rank. 35-40 cents is very reasonable and I often up my successful campaigns to that number anyway to help them. But yeah definitely be careful with higher bids as they can burn through daily budgets quickly ;)
@@PhilipAnders thanks i was able to figure it out. I had to create a new account since I have a KDP one, it was showing a error. But it’s good now. Was able to start a sponsor ads campaign
I have created a campaign .. Chose a product .. placed a bid and a budget .. but no money is being drawn from my bank account and there is around 140 impressions .. btw im tier 10 .. do you know why isn't it withdrawing money ??
since Amazon Ams is granted to Merch by amazon sellers based on their tier level, Is it okay if I create a seperate Amazon Ads account to promote my tier 10 designs ?
Thank you for the great tutorial! I'm new to advertising. I heard that political niches can't advertise. Is it true? But I still see some political designs running ads. What does it mean?
Is there a way to check if I was invited? I am tier 1000 and I just want to make sure I didn't miss an invite as I haven't done much with Amazon merch since 2020 but I recently posted a design I want to promise.

thank you philip, what about adjusting bids by placement ??
thank you for this video, we need more videos like this and please make a video with this manual targeting, please!

Hi Philip, thanks for that. 👍 I'm now in Tier 100 and i don't have the advertising tab yet! How do I get this quickly?

in that case you would have to advertise externally through google, facebook or pinterest ads for example
