It what happens when you write a movie based on the moments you personally want to see (or the studio's goals) instead of what the characters would do according to their personalities. Leia doesn't hug Chewie either because JJ Abrams didn't think about the characters, or the studio wanted Rey to take priority over Chewie because she was the 'new better product.'
I find hilarious that a group of people took the time to express their frustration about starwars in a deatcore song that slaps this hard. That BLEH was perfect !

PLEASE RELEASE MORE I FOUND THIS SONG A WEEK AGO AND ITS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD! Reminds me of 2005-2012 instrumentally and lyric structure with the call-response between screams and cleans. I miss that so much.
The attention to detail in this is amazing, the tuning pegs turning while she's tuning the bass, the volume swell louder as they turn up the amp, the 6505+ head and marshall 10/10
The Riff in the chorus /intro is so good! (please do shit like that in all your songs) As a matter of fact the whole damn thing is good I can't wait to here more music from you guys.
I went and checked their other songs on TH-cam music and oh my god, the reste of their work sounds nothing like this song. It's so weird. From rap to reggae.
LOL I am gonna go on a limb here and say TH-cam Music lumped some wannabe Kottonmouth Kings from Victorville California material in with this gem of a band @@Andrei5656
I listened to this song, then watched the scene of Luke skywalker dying in which this song was referencing. Star Wars was my inspiration for wanting to become a director and I now know the rage this song is conveying
I'll just repost my comment from the original video, I think some people can relate :) After watching this lke 10 times in a row, I feel like I can finally articulate why this hits hard. Not only does the music go really hard, with really cool riffs and massive drops, the lyrics are deceptively poignant. Lines like "I should have cried when Han died" and "And why the fuck did Leia run past Chewie straight to fucking Rey?" betray a sadness that gives emotional depth to the anger in display. Musically, it's an excellent song. But the presentation lends the song and concept an extra edge. It's a band of young people making music in a garage. They're singing about something they are evidently very passionate about. They are doing it at what seems to be dusk. It feels strangely intimate, and immensely relatable in the sense that they are purging the emotional fallout of something a lot of us have felt. Not just because the Star Wars movies were shit, but the "You pissed all over something sacred" feeling we all understand. Most of us recognize our childhood in one way or another "died", for one reason or the other. And very rarely we get the chance to properly articulate that subtle bitterness, that acknowledgement that some innocence was lost, somehow. Seeing the band playing on a garage, this song, feels like we get to vent by proxy, it's an incredibly relatable way to express this. They could have done an angry animated video with Star Wars references or something, but framing it this way puts all the focus in the human side of feeling this way: "we are angry, we are sad, we know we lost something valuable, we need to express it in a way that pays tribute to the importance of these feelings. Let's make a song about it, and we will sing it for ourselves in this garage, giving it our all, because we need to deal with this to stay sane, and this is the best way we know how to do so." It's a wonderfully melancholic work. It rages, it screams, but it does so because it's sometimes better to feel angry than sad over what was lost.
Man, this is crazy. I've NEVER been a Star Wars fan and have often heard people rant about how the series had lost its way once Disney got its hands on it. I never really gave a shit enough about its waning quality, but this song actually made me finally feel what all these other people have felt about it.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY SIIIICKKKK!!! .. this SLAPS. all of you are absolutely amazing. thank you for this cathartic banger!! also - as a drummer, I can't recall a better-animated "live" music video.. ever? spot-on. I won't stop listening to this when my ears inevitably bleed. 🔥🤘
Okay, I just gotta say, don’t you dare disrespect Hayden, that guy is a legend. But apart from that this song is absolute golden and you’ve put my thoughts into the best metalcore song ever
I cried a little listening to this beautiful song. It hit so hard and captured all of the emotions I had when the new trilogy came out. I was more than just angry and disappointed, I felt betrayed. This song is a perfect allegory to the shit show of what we were given. Thank you Lost Souls, you beautiful bastards, for the great work you have done in writing a perfect song.
I love this song more than words can describe. Not only is it such epic metalcore that reminds me of better times it's about Star wars which I also love. Amazing guys, keep it up I'm so excited to hear what y'all put out next
This is the greatest thing ever created. Not to mention that all the animations are completely dope as well.... I literally can not get enough.... My soul longs for more....
I'm not ashamed to say that OT Han Solo is my favorite character in fiction. I don't like Harrison Ford a ton, but he was perfect for that role and might be the best written/acted character in the Star Wars universe. He's not a Jedi, but there's beauty in the simple characters. The characters you love because the bonds they form with others mean something. I didn't cry when he died. I cried that Leia hugged Rey and not Chewie. I'm a nerdgirl for that damn character and this song encapsulates my rage so well.
"Blegh" is definitely the lyric that expresses my feelings for Star Wars after Disney
