    Thank you Pete, as always a great video, lovely to see Senior Drum Major Gareth Chambers leading the band. Very much appreciated 🙏

      You are, as always, very welcome ! It is an honour, and a privilege, to be of service ! ☺

    Fabulous video, I really enjoyed it thank you. I believe you went literally above and beyond (on steps😉)in order to get the finished product so thanks for that😎 The lady at 6:12 is, I think, a kindred spirit to me. I would be joining in with her if I was there😊

      The lady that you mentioned is something of a regular. She was born to the beat. As for the steps, that is essential for when the crowds build. And they 'will' build. They were a necessary expense. I will probably be buying something a little larger this year, and I pity the people that I encounter holding them. Thank you for liking my effort regardless. It is always exciting to go out and do that. I almost consider it a part time job. Physically, if not mentally, it is... a challenge !

      @AnnofWales21, she’s my most favorite spectator. I’d love to join up with her too if I had the chance but have to content with watching her on video

      @@charlottecunningham2141 yes, she looks as if she’s thoroughly enjoying herself and why not, who wouldn’t😎 To be honest I find it amazing that some of the spectators show absolutely no emotion/reaction to the fabulous spectacle in front of them! We shall just have to appreciate her acting on our behalf😌

      I thought it was rather good. Although exactly 'what' it would be winning eludes me. A great many things do these days. Hoping for a dry and wind free Spring. Hope springs eternal. Take it easy.

      It was rather pleasant out there today. No excessive 'non Band' noise. Nice if it could be like that alll year round. Not going to happen. Have a lovely weekend !

    4) 3:46-To Your Guard

      Well done Delvin and thank you! It’s great to know the names of the marches 🙏

      Thank you Delvin... as usual ! The water works were gone today so we managed to get the fourth clip in. And when they started playing Aces High on the last leg down to the Barracks, hy heart sang. Tempted to try to follow them in to the Barracks to keep the volume level up. 🤣 Wonderful stuff ! Have a great weekend, Sir ! Onwards !

      @@Cynocephali Hello Sir! You're very welcome! I believe I spotted you over in MikeM14 Channel, was Sir using a Ladder?
      Hahaha! Following them in without actually following them in! Brilliant! If sir manages to get a pair of wings at a fair price, you might be able to hover over them! Anyways, have an excellent upcoming week Sir! As Sir says Onwards!

      @@delvinrodriguez3341I was indeed the creature up on those steps. When I have jogged up from the Guildhall, to Castle Hill, I am not going to be able to see diddly squat over the heads of the ever thickening crowds. If it starts to get warm, even in the Springtime, the crowds there are often going to be 6 or 7 deep. Sometimes even deeper than that. I do not 'need' them anywhere else, but I use them regardless. Down at the Barracks there is a wall opposite the entry gates. The steps make the hop up on to the wall easier. That is nice. LOL. You should try running through crowds with those steps held in front of you. And I do 'run' when I can. It builds... character. Either that, or bruises. Depends on who is on the receiving end of the metal in the event of a collision. 😆

    Love that Aces High and Children of the Regiment the names of which I wouldn’t have known without your assistance Delvin. A question if you don’t mind, was Aces High composed for the film or has it been in existence long before? when I hear it all i can see is the German ace pilot standing by the Messerschmitt 😅😅

    • @Cynocephali
      @Cynocephali  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Although the question was directed at Delvin, I can tell you that the music was composed by Ron Goodwin, in a military march style, for the 1969 soundtrack of the film 'Battle of Britain'.
