Man... I wonder how they react to psychopath, sociopath and even depress people. What type of hell could it be?
Different flavors of attack just like ice and fire sociopaths are cold uncaring and with no moral qualms of wrong and right. While psychopaths are a more emotional raging entity that reacts on emotion and lacks empathy which will lead to a more instinctual response.
If they manage to survive a psychopath brain they may be reduce to a agresive toddler brain for greater damage.
For the sociopaths the opposite and may well be reduced in a catatonic state where they let go of all.
I guess "normal" human depression, would cause anyone close to commit suicide on spot

Not so much suicide as stuff like blood not circulating, muscles refusing to move, or the conscious mind falling into apathy. Like a coma while awake.

Even "better", i didn't think about it. Are you sure humans incapable of "translating" various emotions, including depression "wirelessly" In a short range? I bet, you know, you "can" feel, "mood in the room", the more humans in one place the stronger the "mood" is. Until it got so extreme, it is flat out deadly for non-humans to enter such place, even after humans leave, place stays "contaminated" with sheer power of human uncontrollable, chaotic psyche

I would imagine that humans could probably be rendered safe for psychic contact with the application of certain pharmaceutical interventions.
