  • This is a full build video of the Hyperlite Flowride frame with the 6 inch arms, im using the new F60 pro V2 motors on this build at a lower 2350 kv so i can run 5S without any issues. This is a vary light 6 inch freestyle frame thought up by Kabob FPV with lots of smart and strong design aspects and great mounting solutions. The build went well except the esc would not connect to bl heli 32, So i had to change motor direction manually but it flies great, Flight video coming soon

    Very nice build. Very respectable weight for 6 inch freestyle rig.

    I need help please... everywhere i search or read I cant get information
    (This is referring to the akk fx2 ultimate, kakute f4 v2, and Duncan micro eagle)... I am stuck...this is my first build on a quad
    I have a quick question...about the AKK FX2 ultimate VTX.... it's about the build.... what do I do with the JST wire "black and red" 7-26v input/connector .... I cut them off right?
    Like I mean in the future I wont be using them??
    Because on the main connector end I cant remove them from connector because of how connector is made....
    I'm assuming from what I reading and vids that that jst wire is for running the vtx externally with a cam....
    I wanna make sure before I cut it off.....
    =====
    Also i read a few differnt ways to wire up the vtx and fpv cam to the FC.... but from my understanding the best way is to combine the red wire from vtx and fpv cam together and solder on FC 5v and to also combine the negative wire on vtx and fpv cam together and put on ground on fc...... and I belive the video in on fc is going to be yellow from fpv cam and the video out will be the vtx yellow...
    My main concern is this JST wire on the akk vtx
    Thanks for any verification.... I do have manuals and watch Joshua's vids...and others too...just wanted to verify....
    Your video out of all is the most usefull

      I connect my cam voltage input and ground to my vtx 5v out and ground out, the jst is probably for the vtx voltage input, that is we're I connect to batt in and ground, usually to lipo input pads but sometimes the board has a vcc out that is full lipo voltage voltage and I'll connect to there for cleaner voltage.

    Ha! Yeah that brown nut thing is funny; we see that with different grades of aluminum, the same anodizing spec and color can look totally different on a different grade of metal...Or the color looks totally wrong and they have to pick the closest match that will actually take to the material... Anyway still sucks...

    OK Bro, I finished my (fluoride 6") build almost just like yours... Not sure what is going on but I am getting a massive amount of vibration to the FPV camera. I have same Foxeer Predator Micro in blue on it and its a sweet looking build but damn this vibration is killing me! I have changed motors once and same thing going on. Not sure if the 6" arms in this thin profile are enough to keep it rigid... Let me know how its going for you, please! (I haven't checked my HD session footage but I assume it is jello-y like the fpv feed)

      Not getting any jello in mine, i have heard of the sensor in the cam breaking loose and giving you jello but mine is all good, flies so incredibly smooth, ill make a flight video now. I think i turned down my p a bit for the power of the motors, or maybe your I is too high? The Kakute F4 hates being soft mounted so soft mounting motors with it made mine not work, feel free to message me if you have any other questions, but i would start with the cam., then goto pids

      hey Hermes hey bud I followed your lead and yeah it totally was my fpv cam it it defective... I looked at the HD footage and it was great on the same flight I found unflyably sickening it was shaking so much in the goggles. I should have known that kind of shake isn't normal, but it was freaking me out I couldnt concentrate. Anyway it took a few days before I could fly after the camera swap because the rain has been relentless. finally got a chance today. cheers homie
