It’s not necessarily something he took from Metal Bat, but more the natural process of monsterification. Normally, humans turn into monsters by hitting rock bottom, and then breaking their limits through that defeat. The Monster cells artificially expedite the process. Essentially, every time Garou suffers a horrific loss, he breaks more of his limits and becomes more of a monster. Garou can copy any martial arts style after seeing it once, but Metal Bat’s ability is uniquely his own.

But (i think this is kind of a Spoiler so Be warned) Later on in the manga, we know "water flow crushing rock" is a specific martial art about reading the flow of energy and Garou know this. Which is the reason why he was able to point out Metal Bat ability when they first encounter, despite Metal Bat cant even describe it himself. Garou not only can copy "fighting style" (Not just specifically martial art), but can also fuse it with other fighting style that he already know, So it might not clear to notice. But there are many examples to draw the conclusion. First, He and Metal Bat both got poison, which suppose to paralyze them, but they push through what appear to be "power of will". Second, both keep packing more punch the more they on the edge of dying. This is also can be used to explain why later Garou eventually while being under stress to (well if you read the manga you know).

1. No, it should be this year and it was delayed enough as is. Season 2 got out 2 years ago so season 3 is good and due. 2. Garo is about Suryiu lvl, and they are both slightly beelow Sonic; they are not close to Boros. Only Blast and Tornado are close to Boros right now, Blast being a total mystery.
There are certainly people like that, I rooted for Thanos the whole way through Infinity War. It also was incredibly satisfying how he crushed their overconfidence by absolutely destroying hulk lol
Saitama basically does the same thing in every fight: a kind of punch. So, he does the same thing with the game, doing one thing always made him win. It just isn't in his thoughts that he has to change the way he fight ^^ One more and then the OVA's please! :D
Hell yeah been waiting for this one this episode is amazing makes it hard not to root for Garou lol. Genos is so badass in this episode though I love it

I love that Saitama's view of Genos is that he's cool and powerful, and then has to be reminded that Genos has almost died multiple times.
Also Genos was 19 when he met Saitama. He was turned into a cyborg at 15.
I didn't realize till now but King vs Saitama with the one in red life is a lot like Garou winning even at 1 Hp :P
