Great guide as always. I'll say though to anyone learning toa, you're shooting yourself in the foot if you don't learn insanity. It's barely harder, is free 50 points. You can load up a 0 invo raid and just turn on insanity to practice for free.
I also think insanity is super important to learn. However, many people think insanity is a "must have" for 300 raids. I've seen this turn a few people off, so we went with an alternative option for this guide. Moving forward; 350 deathless, 400, and 500 fang kit guides will all use insanity!
I love that you do live commentary . Most guides it seems it’s just a voiceover and there is sometimes a disconnect between what they are saying verse what they are doing. I almost forgot this was an expert TOA based on the simple methods and explanations. Been looking for a guide like this, keep up the awesome work VGB!
I just completed my first 300 and I used insanity, but I would love to learn about the path invos instead, and maybe learn how to do butterfly and red x. Thanks for the videos, I'm sure this one is gonna be great.

@tntbrett gotta agree with this! You can see i messed up my butterfly at least 2 or 3 times. It happens. But learning butterfly is an extremely useful trchnique
@@VideoGameBot Okay perfect. I'm currently running 325s, but always have wondered if I should try Stay Vigiliant without mastering the butterfly first haha. Thanks for the advice!
@deviouschimp4663 master the BF!! If you're already busting out 325s you could spend an hour-ish doing first-room akkha with the goal of practicing and learning. Once you learn BF, 350 solo will be a breeze. And if you learn red x as well, you can start knocking out 400s
Pretty decent guide overall, but I have some issues with it. 1. Ancient magic is awful in TOA. Bring thralls and a few chins for the monkey room. 2. The Akka fight is the hardest in the raid, and the advice is just wrong for this setup. If you don't have a shadow, you should kill akka normally. The trident (~7.5 dps no tick loss) is significantly worse than a shadow (~12.5 dps). If we're losing 20% of the dps on top of that from tick loss we're now at an average of 6 dps per second.... Until you have a shadow you actively want to get out of his melee form because the other two styles have higher dps. It should be obvious, but killing bosses faster is better lol. Use a blowpipe to kill the akka shadows, or a voidwaker spec if you have one. P.S. the dps number were obtained from Gearscape website
he just trying to keep it simple for others and did state since his using a trident he'll struggle to kill shadows. though i agree with you about killing shadows with BP (pretty sure its better than trident with just ava didnt check dps) but yeah i believe he didnt use thralls as alot of ppl forget to even use them
VGB you're easily the best OSRS raid tutor. Was able to get a better grasp on the butterfly method. You make things so easy to comprehend
Thanks!
Really looking forward to your 400 and 500 guides

I usually go with baba, keph, Croc and then akkha, with power then life. The one ambrosia can help a lot on the last row of wardens
Good morning! Been looking forward to this!
no way you upload this a day before i decide to get back to toa after using your solo cox guide (70kc now btw) legend!

unreal bud thank you!
Every time u drop I link to the boys ❤
Curious if u were playing full screen when u got zuk helm? Awakened Levi on full screen sounds terribly hard
THANKS! Thats super cool of you to link me out to the boiz :)
Yes, I've played full screen for years lolol
Why is some ppl in WDR discord accusing u of being a troll? I watched your colo guide and it helped me complete it.

Because they aren't gms lol
Basically, there's a 'high level gamer' community that always will call another method noob or not meta/etc.
we do raids has cool people, but then they also have the cringe people with 500k messages of only shit talking everybody who isn't 100% perfect
For butterfly, true tile is easier because you can start it once he's 1 tile away and then you're good.
Vgb the goat
mind the gap should always replace penetration. penetration can totally end a run from a simple miss click. where as gapp its the first room ur doing
Is DWH better than BGS? Or is there an invo break point where one overtakes the other in usefulness?
@@anthonymiller2155 bgs all the way. Idk the exact mechanics behind the monster defense caps, but bgs is always king, and dwh rarely hits with crush anyway
zebak 2nd without upset stomach and unpotted/unsalted is diabolical lol
A tip if anyone uses entity swapper is to change the left click on the supply thingy to “resupply”. Then you never have to open it during a fight
If we aren't planning to butterfly, should I avoid Stay Vigiliant?
recommend keeping it on and forcing self to learn fast gear swaps
@deviouschimp4663 yes! If you are trying to find another 15 invo to replace it you can just use "need some help" imo

Thralls > ancients with monkey room changes?
my man did zebak second and didnt even bring a range pot
would you do a 500 guide without shadow?
Yellow keris is a must for higher invo

@@MrMcRonald It is. Blowpipe with masori and amethyst darts is about 11 dps on shadows.
for any1 reading this: do not take pathseeker in a 300 ever. also dont take more overlords either
