I can see why he is the King of Country music. I agree with Alan Jackson when he presented George Strait an award and Alan told George that he was a class act and that is probably an understatement. Some of his songs are are emotional but you feel good after you have heard them. I am so sorry that I didn’t get on to his songs until I reached my seventies, cuz I would have loved to be at one of his concerts. His song “I Will Never Forget You,” has brought me out of some dark situations. I am so glad for the great marriage they built is still great. I can relate to the loss of their young daughter, as I lost my only daughter when she was 31 years old.

I'm not the biggest fan of live performances, but I hope all the people in charge or the audio and mixing for this show made it far in Nashville...the sound is even slicker and better than the album cuts. The whole crew, including George, Gene Elders, and the entire band deserve props for this.
