hearing that gluto naps during tourneys is reaffirming. I heard that shinymark tried to nap a lot at S Factor, and so I tried to do that too at my next big tourney... and I happened to win. happy coincidence? :)

So fun fact for this video, I didn’t know how to properly showcase stamina in a thumbnail so I tried thinking outside the box. I don’t know if I did as good of a job as I could have, but I think the thumbnail is good enough.

@@jauntytoad I did, and that was the main inspiration, but I changed it to appeal to the algorithm. I was actually very sad I had to change it.

Went to a couple tournaments recently where I felt I underperformed, but the advice on dedicating time to refocus and stay energized seems very practical and something I haven't tried yet. I feel like most players assume that "more practice" is always the solution to fix a bad performance, and neglect the emotionial aspect that only happens in the moment which is crucial competition. Very good reminder to distribute my time into places I ignored or thought were unessecary 👍

Thanks again for another great episode! I have 2 thoughts for your consideration
    1. 45 minutes is such a great sweet spot for depth of discussion in relation to listening fatigue/attention span. Recommend moving forward with a similar/equitable time frame.
    2. For Tony, love the application of research; call me picky since I have a research methods background, is there any chance you would be able to cite the sources/articles/meta-analyses? Understand its extra work but as professionals, I’d highly recommend at least showing that so viewers can better understand the context and parameters the research was performed in.
    Thanks!

@@FGCUniversity phenomenal work taking the time to develop a citation list. I understand it was a lot of work on the channel and Tony’s personal time to develop and utilize this. Really, thanks so much for considering feedback, looking forward to see if this may be integrated in the “description” or quick subtitle on screen/screen link to a citation link. You’re above and beyond work is worth a membership from me to help support you guys!
