from someone who was a girl scout and a leaders daughter at that i will tell you that your amazing because we have had the location for girls to pick up there orders in our house every time and by you taking on the duty of cookie person is amazing.
OMG. This is my office complex! I’m the graphic designer for Isuzu. I remember having to be out of the lot by five so that Girl Scout cookie pick up could begin. So awesome. Love you. I watched you on Days and on both Full and Fuller.
When our 7 year old daughter got diagnosed with Celiac Disease less than 2 years ago I thought we could never eat Girl Scout cookies again but low and behold a little girl came to our door last year and I told them we can no longer eat them because of gluten and the dad said oh we have gluten free cookies! I was like no way!!! Luckily they were yummy, the toffee ones, and we can enjoy them still and support Girl Scouts! Hopefully we can still find them this year! I just saw you have a new gluten free one I haven't seen yet! Yay! Thanks Girl Scouts!

Love it! I think it was a very organized distribution of cookies. I wish I had them all in my kitchen right now. Although I haven´t tried all the flavors, I like them a lot. I was a Girl Guide of Mexico (well, I still am in my heart and soul) and I enjoyed so much selling cookies in my neighborhood, to my family and friends. And also loved the vanilla cookies made in this country. It was a special recipe and now they don´t have them anymore. So, enjoy. Hugs and blessings always to you and the troop.

My daughter was in Girl Scouts and sold 500 boxes her first year. Living in a town of only 1000, I was so proud of her! I was a little upset to find out the troop only pockets $0.07 profit per box sold. At $5 a box and as much work as most of these girls put in, you think that amount of profit would be a little higher!
If this is true, the actual Girl Scouts girls need to call a meeting on their own to come up with a strategy to present to the Board of Director's a percentage increase. Otherwise, we are all being tricked to buy cookies to pay Administration Salaries. 😯
Yea, I'm a girl scout myself and so pissed at this. I feel like now that I am older and know how much my troop gets I don't try that hard anymore to sell that many. I hate how much council makes for them but they don't do any of the work
It's very much true. Why do you think they pushed cookie sales so hard? Our trip chose to do our own fundraising! Go to the Kansas City council page on FB. They have a post about sending girls on an oversea trip. In the comments it says it would take 200 boxes to reach a $200 profit and the council replies with that's correct. So that area only makes $0.01 profit per box!
This is awesome to see! I am a Troop Leader and also the Cookie Mom and it takes a lot of work to manage Cookie Season and help the girls learn such amazing business skills. You are awesome for volunteering for this role! And I am jealous you have Lemonade cookies. We don't have those in our area and they are delicious.

If you like the Lemonades, take strawberries, dip them in white chocolate followed by the Lemonades crushed up. We had that at a cookie meeting for our council many years ago when the Lemonades came out.

We don’t get a lot of those flavours here and I wish I could try them. We only get thin mints in the winter and sandwich cookies in the summer and for the past few years I haven’t even gotten any of those :(. The one thing that makes me sad to Canadian.
