As for Celeste "I don't know if her voice matches well with the group" Well, they should give her more lines to sing, shouldn't they? A lot of people were surprised that she didn't sing more in that performance, as for the dancing she did well.
Do we know how the lines are distributed tho? The prep vlog makes me think that the girls decided amongst themselves, since they decided also which parts to dance to.
In the previous mission it was quite noticeable that her voice does not fit... or rather she has not found a way to make it shine because of how different it is.

this is what im saying y’all. i don’t trust these judges at all. they need to do something to build their credibility to us. and if they are seeing things we aren’t they need to give us content that proves their point. but to not give samara or others any credit when we can all see how well they are doing is just so suspicious. aren’t half of these people on the marketing team. they aren’t judging talent, they are judging palatableness with a obvious bias. and how are you gonna complain about countries supporting their contestants when that’s why you are making a global group? how are you gonna market diversity without any judges to balance colorism? many of the comments supporting nayoung, sophia, samara, etc are american so not from the countries that those woman are from and reducing their popularity to that is infuriating. anyways i support all these talented girls- fighting.

This is so true, megan, lara, celeste, samara and nayoung either get dragged or completely ignored by the judges when they are the few with great vocal and/or dancing capability. Its quite odd.

The judges are out of touch
Not only saying "fans are voting for nationality" disrespecful to us, when they made it all about nationality from day 1, you can see their country flags EVERYWHERE, but they also try to manipulate us. We all agree with our biases and not that Karlee and Iliya were the weaker performers but they think they were fine?. They left out so many girls out from the critics too. They said Celeste was struggling with keeping up when she was technically the second best dancer from her group and being injured no less?. They said Emily gave good vocals when she was talking her lines and out of breath?. Ua vocals were bad but they like them and find them interesting, wtf?. I don't know, they clearly have a lineup in mind and they want to manipulate us into liking it.
I'm for AntiF team A but was really surprised when they praised Emily's voice. I was like, did we hear the same thing? She's a great dancer, probably the best in the whole competition but she didn't do great in singing

Just because Mitra Darab doesn’t agree with the fan voting 4:14 doesn’t make the fan votes wrong. If you don’t want the fans to vote, don’t ask us to! Personally I voted based on who I enjoy the most & who I personally think has the most talent and not based on country. But I think if someone votes based on country, more power to them! You can’t dictate what we as fans find valuable when watching a girl group. You want our opinion, and you have it- and for some people, identifying with someone from their country is important. If you don’t want us to vote, don’t ask us. 🤷🏼♀️

Yes! It's simple, if you want people to participate and choose who they want to debut they can pick anyone, even if the person is from the same country
But that’s exactly what Mitra is saying? She literally said the fan’s job is to vote based on who they like, which can be influenced by nationality, but it’s the judges’ job to be unbiased. You see that as her complaining, I see that as her simply calling out a fact. At no point is she dictating how the fans should be voting?
Girl you clearly doesn't get what she means by that😐😑 she never state that the fanvote we did is wrong. She just reminds all the judges to be fair and neutral and rlly focus on the girs talents since so many people / audiences gonna vote based on the contestants countries, soo its their job and its important for the judges to rate/ judging all the girls fairly by their talents and ability since the fanvote results most likely gonna be biased based on these girls countries background.
A huge flaw in expecting us to just vote in “skill set” is:
-they gave us extremely limited content to even go off of
-in the first mission, we only got to see HALF of the skill set from each girl
-they shoot the dancing like a music video and then expect us to watch a million fancams, not many people are gonna do that. make it fixed cam so we see their skills properly

Also some are not even getting even line distributions for eg: ezrela since first mission not that much focus so like how can we judge….even costumes too in my opinion sometimes doesn’t make a member shine, also different set ups like that need to stop.
@@Roochi234Yesss this is what I’ve been thinking, to make it fair and really focus on their skills I feel it would need to be all in the same training room or something, like usual kpop dance practices, for me, I’m a very visual person, so it bothered me that for antifragile they had one group dressed in white with an orange-ish background (which is a great combination and makes them pop) and the other were dressed in this muddy green with a brownish background which just doesn’t look as cool 😭 this might be a me problem but I can’t focus on the specific skills if the overall visual elements are very different 😢
I also thought both fearless performances were better overall, but I don’t know if again, I’m being influenced by the fact both of their videos look amazing cuz they’re in a freaking rooftop with the coolest view, be it night or day

And I am seeing people are not voting for talent and skills but based or race/ethnicity/nationality... It's ridiculous. It's just a popularity contest if you ask me.
How do they expect us to vote only for their skills if they barely give us any content for us to watch and decide??

They probably have the group already decided, they know who will debut, but they are failing at making the "winner" girls the people's favourite. I saw people voting Samara and Celeste because they are latinas, but I wouldn't be surprised if the company never had any intention in picking those girls, as a marketing strategy is a good idea, bring in some girls from latinamerica to gain more popularity and views...
They gave Celeste LITERALLY 4 words in the entire song, and they complain that "her voice didn't mix well"? It is already becoming very clear that her rejection of her is for other reasons, because this time there is absolutely nothing to criticize, if they didn't even let her sing (like Marquise).

It is difficult for viewers to understand these experts' comments with the limited content we have been shown. In fact, this commentary combined with a general lack of transparency is leading Dream Academy fans to believe HYBE and Geffen are attempting to sabotage particular contestants intentionally.
Additionally, I found it rather concerning that these experts are framing the fan voting results to be driven purely by nationality, as if viewers are completely ignoring skill. I do not believe that is the case, however, how else can they expect fans to vote if they are not providing sufficient content for us to make informed decisions?
Furthermore, the line distribution for Mission 2 was absolutely abysmal. Some contestants sang basically the whole song while others had barely a line, yet these experts have the AUDACITY to argue that contestants with the least number of lines didn't "shine" enough?
So far, I have been incredibly disappointed by these professional commentary videos, I expect more from HYBE and Geffen.
To end on a positive note, I think all the contestants are doing amazing. We know how hard you are all working to chase your dreams and we wish the best for every single one of you.

Completely agree. They definitely have favorites too. I noticed that some of the negative comments towards some of the girls didn't even apply, but would be better utilized to describe some of the girls that they fondled over and said did great. Their comments just seem lacking and unprofessional.

I didn't like the comment about fans voting based on nationality and not talent. It seems like y'all have people y'all already handpicked but who are just not popular. Then, these 20 girls have been selected among 120000 applicants. They are all talented so they all have the necessary skills to be great with experience and more training. So because they are talented , now it's about connection and being represented. Fans are more likely to be attracted and connected to a group with a person they can identify with like someone from their own country/culture. And the producers are literally the ones who have been pushing for the nationalistic part of the fans by promoting this as a GLOBAL project showcasing each contestant with their country flags in promos, each speaking their native languages etc. All that contributed to fans wanting the TALENTED contestant of their country/culture to make it to the final group.

You got a point right. Maybe their communication for promoting this show should've been focused a bit more in talent dispute, it could have enhanced the audience perspective. But excessive elements shown about nationality made people biased.
Of course people would get excited if they see a girl from the same country in the show, same as when you watch the olympics for example, we all know to qualify for the olympics you gotta be one of the best, so what's the problem with supporting someone from your country? that's what makes competitions exciting, everybody competing has a similar level but only a few get to win. Here we can see all the girls are talented ( they chose the girls, not us) so some will get more popularity than others, and that's just life.

No, it’s just noticeably different but that doesn’t mean it’s bad or anything. And again, if any participant’s voice is “below avarage” they wouldn’t be in Dream Academy in the first place. Dancing is not the only thing taken into account for selecting the participants, even though some of them have different strengths than others.

Las voces diferentes en los grupos llaman mucho la atención a la hora de uno prestar atención a X grupo, no siento que celeste no encaje, siento que tienen tan estererilizadas las voces en el kpop que muchas veces casi ni encuentro diferencias en ellos, muchos grupos de las última generación suenan igual. Es necesarios los cambios y originalidades en las voces. SIGO APOYANDO A CELESTE HASTA EL FINAL!

Definitivamente no buscan grupos iguales... Twice, Kep1er, STAYC, Itzy son todos ejemplos de chicas a las que pusieron juntas teniendo cero cohesión vocal en mente. Y curiosamente también son de los grupos más criticados por su canto y malos vocals... tener voces diferentes no siempre es algo bueno, especialmente si el grupo va a ser un producto para el público internacional. Nadie quiere escuchar chicas chirriando y otras haciendo tonos bajos después

I think they left out mostly the fans' favorites like Sophia, Samara, Manon, Daniela, and Marquise. Maybe to give others a chance to influence the rankings based on their comments on which trainees really shone for them. and mostly of the comments were critics.. However, I wish they could have at least made a brief comment about them if that is really their purpose. Anyway, it's clear that they did really a good job in this mission...
Maybe they did really talk about them BUT edited out the comments because it's common for popular members to fans who have extreme and overly biased opinions.
The production wanted a skilled member not the most popular ones.

Não tem como ter assistido a Samara e não achar que ela brilhou no grupo dela. Ela cantou de maneira estável,dançou muito bem, tem excelente expressões faciais não há nada em que ela foi mal.

Lamentablemente a Celeste le dieron pocas líneas y poca cámara. Solo al final hacen un plano de la cara con su nombre. Pero en su fancam se ve su presencia escénica. Se supone que es una prueba grupal, no invidivual. Y ella aportó muy bien en su grupo.
Obviamente creo que lo de la cámara es intencional. Lo mismo pasó con la prueba 1 Pink Venom, a Hinari ni la enfocaron...

Podrian redistribuir las lineas para que sea mas equitativo, pero no lo hicieron con ninguno de los dos equipos Fearless. Talent is the most important thing here but at the same time money is everything and kpop stans are gonna more likely spend money on people they feel close to and represents who they are. If a person sees someone who is their nationality or race on their favorite platforms, they are more likely to support especially if that person wants to become a kpop idol themselves and thought possibly in the past they couldn’t due to not being asian or mixed, this gives them hope on their dreams. I got super excited from the fact Kendall from VCHA has my same name and that will be used now in kpop but besides that we don’t have anything in common. But imagine seeing someone who looks like you, speaks your language and is a good representation for your country (all these girls are objectively beautiful and talented in some way) being possibly praised by knetizens or the kpop industry, in general something they are involved in everyday, is a HUGE draw. That person will feel accepted in turn putting that onto their faves. This is also a safety thing. Kpop idols have known to do racist things or do cultural appropriation so this makes fans seem they are going in the right direction and their fave isn’t like that! It’s ingenious marketing honestly. So yes people are gonna vote for their own countries, there may not be another opportunity like this for a long time since 2/4 bigger companies are doing this right now.
And don't forget they selected all the girls. So it shouldn't matter who gets selected, the girls are equally talented. Maybe some dancer are better, but others are better singers. They introduced the idea of people voting, but what happens if the most popular girls are not the girls they had in mind to debut? haha we all know it's rigged, I hope this doesn't backfire because the girls who get to debut might get hate for that :(

I think since most of these trainees are with Hybe practicing for a year, Hybe has made up their mind for who they want almost 70-80%. Rest 20-30% at this point is combination of seeing the contestants ability to perform, stage presence, pressure handling and audience voting. So effectively very little is in control of audience. I find it a little amusing that ppl feel they have the right to completely decide who they think is the best when a company in fact has spent a year with the contestants. I also do believe the immunity that teams receive and voting results are genuine, so it is fair enough on part of Hybe.

How do you complain that fans are only voting for their countries when that’s the first thing you pushed in our faces.
The first thing we hear when we open these videos is the word “dream” in multiple different languages. In the intro video the first thing we saw their country’s flags, in the video of them introducing themselves, they say their country and also say their intro in their native tongue. Even in their profiles crated by HYBE, their country is mentioned, so YEAH people are voting for their countries. You give us little else to go off.
Don’t complain that fans are only focusing on county when you promoted this program in that way. I think it’s just saltiness because the judge’s favorites are probably lower in the ranks.

es interesante como algunas opiniones de ellos no coinciden con las mías, hubo participantes que yo sentí que lo hicieron muy bien, que me gustaron sus voces pero ellos decían que realmente no lo hicieron bien , como hubo otras que realmente por los vocales sentí que la presentación bajaba mucho de calidad pero ellos opinaron que lo hicieron realmente bien, aun con todo eso llegamos a la misma conclusión en cuanto a que grupo de cada canción fue el mejor.

Emily no fue la mejor vocalista, UA mató el clímax cuando canto, Brooklyn sigue igual desde la primera presentación, karle se equivoco y aun así le dieron alagos al igual que UA. Neh?? Uau me decepcionou tanto quando a jurada falou q as pessoas estavam apenas votando para a suas nacionalidades, como se a Samara não merecesse. Na minha opinião a voz dela foi a melhor do grupo, claro q as outras são ótimas mas acho um desperdício os jurados nem ao menos citarem ela

I like how the judges pointed out that people are rooting for competitors from their country which is unfair for other competitors from other countries with low population. I think the judges looking out on this and only focusing on their skills and growth will make this whole project just and fair.
