a lil critique cause i did a vincent re view after the initial listen but it sorta feels like lovely turning into a vamp did little for the narrative in general? there was a video of them being thirsty and one where vin healed them cause they got overconfident but other than that we got no mourning really over their muted powers (i feel like sam would understand that) or possible family or any of their old life we got told before their turning that the first year a new vamp struggles a lot a lot a lot but it’s like we fast forwarded past 98% of that struggle and lovely’s a perfect vampire. but i love this video! i even left a comment saying already! i think a repeat playlist listen just made me miss plot heavy stuff for vin (and gav and the last quinn video made it sound urgent but it wasn’t). other than very very recent avior, it feels like there hasn’t been super plot heavy stuff ¡in canon! since inversion especially for vin and gav. fluff and spice spice and fluff lol get the most views so i can see why and spice and fluff could be the point of the channel in general (which is cool! i love love love both so much i’d just shift my expectations) and i don’t want to do that thing they do on goodreads reviews where they make a critique but it’s more on what they personally want the book to be rather than what the book actually is. this video is hot asl, a listen back on vin made me think about how narratively not too much shifted with their turning and how we missed out on how difficult it is for newborns like we were told, which made me think about (other than avior and non canon stuff) not many plot heavy things have happened on the channel to move stuff along narratively since inversion (and i’d been associating super plot heavy with this channel which i have no problem shifting that mentally because i love a good spice and fluff rp channel and that type of channel gets the most views of all rp channels minus the just spice rp channels lol)

But also going off topic a bit- Ya know its super happy at the moment but its all fun and games until we get a video with a title like "An encounter with a dangerous vampire" or something similar to that- (Tell me im not the only one excited about when Quinn is gonna show up and getting to ser Darlin beat the shit out of him, but im also concerned for the unempowered mates aswell and curious to see other characters involvement in that storyline if there is any. Im also excited to meet more new characters who may or may not die to Quinn or something or someone else at some point who knows)

a lil critique cause i did a vincent re view after the initial listen but it sorta feels like lovely turning into a vamp did little for the narrative in general? there was a video of them being thirsty and one where vin healed them cause they got overconfident but other than that we got no mourning really over their muted powers (i feel like sam would understand that) or possible family or any of their old life we got told before their turning that the first year a new vamp struggles a lot a lot a lot but it’s like we fast forwarded past 98% of that struggle and lovely’s a perfect vampire.
but i love this video! i even left a comment saying already! i think a repeat playlist listen just made me miss plot heavy stuff for vin (and gav and the last quinn video made it sound urgent but it wasn’t). other than very very recent avior, it feels like there hasn’t been super plot heavy stuff ¡in canon! since inversion especially for vin and gav. fluff and spice spice and fluff lol get the most views so i can see why and spice and fluff could be the point of the channel in general (which is cool! i love love love both so much i’d just shift my expectations) and i don’t want to do that thing they do on goodreads reviews where they make a critique but it’s more on what they personally want the book to be rather than what the book actually is.
this video is hot asl, a listen back on vin made me think about how narratively not too much shifted with their turning and how we missed out on how difficult it is for newborns like we were told, which made me think about (other than avior and non canon stuff) not many plot heavy things have happened on the channel to move stuff along narratively since inversion (and i’d been associating super plot heavy with this channel which i have no problem shifting that mentally because i love a good spice and fluff rp channel and that type of channel gets the most views of all rp channels minus the just spice rp channels lol)
