I've been dedicated to ATs since I bought my M50x set years ago. They're worn down and one of the cups keeps detaching, but the quality is still fucking impeccable. I've been thinking about getting a BT set for a while and I've tried finding decent comparative reviews for other brands, but AT seems to just absolutely send it every time. This review is pushing me closer and closer to getting the BT2s.
I decided to buy these because I like audio technica and I'm waiting for them to get here. I've been looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones to replace my earbuds because earbuds tend to get annoying after a while. I look forward to using these headphones. Great review :)
@Charlie Chalk they're still really good! The battery life is still really good, and the sound quality is still amazing. Now, I did change the earpads due to the stock ones not fitting my ears and making my ears toasty when I wore them. Other than that, still really good headphones. The multi function feature is not that good tho, just a fair warning about that
The Sony's are definitely better because of the much higher cost, but for price to performance ratio I'll say the M50x-BT2 is better haha (~75% as good as Sony for 65% of price)
@@LuciferArc1 I do agree! The bass on tje stock eq of XM4 sound forced and way too bassy to me, making the rest of the sound staying in a 2nd line on the stage. I read many reviews stating that the audio quality is superior on the MX50BT2 but makes me feel unsure of a boring performance. However, those reviews say they're still funny and engaging even with no boosted bass. Do you own the M50XBT2? Are they engaging? I hope so since they 're now first in my purchas list!!
@@davidferrandez470 theyre fun sounding. The bass isn't the tightest but it's not super loose sounding either. It's a bright sounding headphone. The highs are pretty pronounced and vocals sound really good. All in all, they're great. It's a fun sound imo. The m50xbt2 and sr50bt are both very nice. If you want something with a little more sound stage and a more balanced sound then I'd go for the sr50bt though. It's all just personal preference
@@LuciferArc1 well, I'd say that I would like to "feel the music" and I know that low frequencies make that but I think I don't need the bass to explode into my head. These M50XBT2 could be considered my first "good headphones". Are they punchier than the SR50 BT? The thing is, after all that research, tried the Xm4 and the Bose 700 and the sound was not "excellent" at all to me so I hope audio technica can give me a nice start! Thanks for all the info!
It's sad to me, I hate everything like EVERYTHING about the m50s headband It's over designed garbage too big the headband itself it too wide too it makes it so much heavier, and the headband isn't a slimmed headband like the sony XM4s No ANC? WTF they look so goddam clumsy especially when I wear my first version M50xBT Why couldn't they just have made it have the headband of a redesign of the m30 and m40 I loved audio technica back in the day tho.... but they need to get their sh! Back in today's program, they need to consumer-ify these goddam headphones I love my m30s for absolutely how thin they are and comfortable to sleep with, legit buy some and compare to the m50s how thin the driver cups are, and the headband is so narrow fitting and looks so better over the over head shaped m50s, the m50s make me look like a F-ing clown I can even modify a cheap bluetooth adapter into my m30s and the driver cups are STILL THINNER :/ Why cant you make them more consumer friendly and add ANC honestly this is tbe biggest letdown by audio technica And btw the headphone market has legitimately changed so much since years ago, I bet theres so many much sony headphones now that are bluetooth that could wipe these feature wise, I mean I hate the xm4s for having megaman hearcups being to thick and cant sleep with them, but jeez especially on amazon theres so many more cheaper alternatives to these like feature packed bombers of great headphones, wish audio technica could step the game up. For my FAVOURITE audio Japanese audio brand, I'm even more let down by them, I thought Japanese brands always found ways go be ahead of the game! Like SONY WITH THE XM4s :/ mega not hype for these

Great choice haha!
Does the mic quality change when it's wired?

Hi there. Since your comment is ten months old can I ask how they hold up after long term use? Thanks

I'm in Singapore, not India. Also I think you can buy directly from USA not too sure

Okay I'll do it if possible. The mics on this isn't the best though
@@TechNoLogic_Sanjai thank you so much, I appreciate it. I’m considering these for commuting but too bad there isn’t a video about the mic
Is this available in India yet?
I'm not sure, you can search sites like Amazon to see if they are there in your region
How does the sound compare to the wh-1000xm4?

Theyre better than the Sony bass canons. Idk why people like boosted bass so much

Zeos Pantera Says These in wired are not for fun just for studio monitoring
Is it a giveaway?
Unfortunately no, it's a review unit haha
Do these have a mic to call via them too?
Yea, they do have mics for calling, but aren't as good as dedicated mics. Will be fine for normal calls
