Man that place is just awesome!! Btw, definitely loving this content, and pretty much this is by far one of your best videos. I truly respect you three, Slater, David and you 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽🔥. So glad that things worked out and you were able to get inside. It's crazy, saw a Stratos and well a few of those lotus look like a collectors dream if you ask me. Pretty sure if he just sells a few pieces out of that hoard, he would definitely still be sitting pretty. Would be awesome if you guys combined though and were able to get that building as a little foothold in Japan. 💯💯. Big up yourself Nick, as we say here Jamaica. Big ups to David and Slater as well. 🇯🇲👍🏽
Whoa! Ive never been this early to a WBTF vid. Can't wait to see all the cars in the states and see what you do with them. I jumped into the Kei Truck hole a few weeks ago and I haven't come back out yet. Keep the content coming!
Absolutely incredible video! It’s really sad all that it’s just sitting there. Millions and millions of dollars of rare cars and parts and other cool stuff. I guess someday, when that nice old man passes, there will be some kind of auction for all of that. In the meantime, it just deteriorates. On a positive note, after seeing all that I really feel like I need to clean out my own garage !
Formula ( for you people that don't know what that is) means formula 1. Or indycar. Open wheel race car,, engine mounted behind you, wings for downforce front and back. They could possibly also use those wide wheels on lemans style prototype race cars.
Holy mahonia! What a horde! So many cars that take me back to racing enthusiast days. That gentleman certainly likes Lotus cars, the 23B is a gem; that and the Ginetta G12 should be out on the track at classic events. Personally, not sure if that Lancia Stratos is the real deal or one of the very good reproductions created more recently, if real it's amazing. Would be interesting to know if all these cars were acquired in Japan, or maybe imported by him to sell on. Definitely a must watch again video. Thanks to you and the owner.
Wow Wow Wow what a video Nick!. this is the high light of the trip surely. so much treasure for sure and just imagine buying a place (and living on the property ) like this in Japan and tinkering with cars while you retire there and never go home back to toxic western culture. I would not complain about have a workshop/Garage with heist and little home all in one in Japan. Great people and great culture too.
That gold wheel at 1:41 looks to be an original from a Miura. If it's genuine, it's probably worth close to $5k USD. Directly to its left looks like an early Lotus F1 wheel, possible from a 25. There are more of them at 2:54 painted Lotus yellow with old Dunlop R5 or R6 tires. The Coke case was sitting in a Pantera wheel, behind it looks like a Campagnolo Elektron. Multiple Lotus 7s, Minis, Lotus Europas and Elans, a Stratos, a 964, a GTV 2000, an MGA, what a collection
Ginetta made in Leeds we're I'm from since the 60s, bodyshell for a MK1 lotus Cortina will be worth quite a bit. In Europe an Average lotus Cortina is £65000 + very good over £80 grand.
Distinctive Ford Cortina rear light clusters @08:15 - colour scheme looks like a Lotus Cortina and he's obviously a big Lotus fan. Ginetta @09:10 has 1970 UK plates. Too many cars to comment on. What a collection!
That guy was awesome. So much amazing shit. And as only one of 4 of my cars is Honda I still might fight you for that clock. Maybe help that old guy sell all the inventory buy the building. That would be rad.
7:14---japanese pro auto owner was saying was saying that green car was a caterham. Not kit car. Caterham cars backstory: caterham cars was a dealer for lotus back in the 1960's. In 1973 caterham cars bought the rights to continue making the lotus 7. And they've been making there version of the lotus 7 for decades. And ive seen every type of engine stuffed in a caterham 7's from V-8's to honda crotch rocket motorcycle engines. Pronounced: Lotus CorTINA. Some of those cars need to be pulled out of that building and restored and get running again. Lotus 23B?? Omg, i want that car!!!
Its amazing that the Japanese have the respect not to randomly go into these types of premises to explore. Their culture is built on respect, unlike western society - please do not go into the building uninvited. It must have been a wonderful experience to be shown through the building by the owner.
The Abandoned sort of dealership hasn't changed certainly over the last few years, I've Seen it on Sammit's channel the Aussie who lives out there and married a Japanese girl May. It's been on several channels Nick as well as Sammit's .
Just shows how expensive cars over 25 years are if bought from America. I know someone this week paid £6300 which is $8090 for a 2016 Honda Alpha S660 with 101,000 km .Duty in Japan Etc £1000 £900 to ship to Southampton our value added tax everything paid with alterations for our MOT all in £9600 or $ 12,300 by the time he's got it home. Shipping here is also far less as we're nearer. Same Gent use to have a Daihatsu copen but an English Copen.
I've watched all your videos since you've been in Japan dude you don't want to be in that place knowing that Japan is prone for earthquakes...best video ever
@@Waybeforethefame its hoarding when stuff is piled everywhere and you have little to no room to move around. Hoarders ALWAYS want to keep their stuff and won't sell or get rid of it.

in my defense. I thought I was going there to look at some abandon dealership outside and the owner just happen to be there and gave us a tour. but maybe next time im in Japan I can plan for it
How luckie are you to be at the time the ownedwas there and he gave you a look inside .A lot of the cars had UK plates on sow thay must have been UK imports . What a lot to sort out one day.
The camera man is not a car guy. Instead of Starring the rarity of the Automobilia the video shows you guts as the stars and he doesn't even know what makes or models or questions what it is for something so rare. What car gut doesn't know Lotus Super 7?
well when the kid takes all of the stuff. its still going to be the empty place. i would sure put his name in the call every once in awhile list. do lunch get a foot in the door.
no one want's to dive in and try to find out values. man that is hard and time consuming .you could out thousand's having people show up to dig in. so it sit's there.
that was so dope, seen this place on a few car channels, so cool you found the owner and got a tour..
Once in a life time experience honestly
You don’t know how lucky you guys are!!! Thanks for the treat🎉
Always!
And that’s what our country used to be like, but it’s so amazing that he was so willing to share his experiences and collections with you, god bless

Lancia Stratos £300 grand car they are so rare & obviously World championship winning rally car in their time.

Those very wide wheels at 1:40 are for racing cars like formula cars. They hold the super wide racing slicks.
